ParticipantOuch! Busted the cable off the loud pedal. So sorry to hear that.
What position was he holding?

ParticipantThat heat sounded a bit more hectic. I think Greg came 6th in that one.
6,4,6 is good for the prefinal, right? Nice Job, guys.
Jeff Field
ParticipantHeat’s on now. Greg attacking Beard….
Edit: Makes move on Chavez to 4th. white flag….
4th.

Participant6th in the CvsD heat. Nice.

ParticipantThanks for the update, Jeff. That really sucks. I saw the post about the Beard incident.
Sounds like rain now for the 2nd mini heat and may be dry for the heats a bit later.

ParticipantI don’t see him in the quick 10 here…

The winner of the IAME Challenge race gets to go, and the highest finishing Leopard in TaG Senior gets to go.
Not that I’ve been keeping up, but I don’t get that. Why is it motor specific? What exactly is the IAME challenge?

ParticipantSounded like Greg was second quickest in practice 2 B group. Then I did not hear him mentioned in the practice 3 results. Hope you guys are having a good day!

ParticipantGo get ’em, Greg.

ParticipantIsn’t PPIR just a weak roval with ~5 corners on the infield? I’d wager they have a lot of weeding to do before any laps.
High plains looks cool. I’d really like to try some road racing in the next year. Sounds like there may be a big kart race on the outer (or full) course at Miller in August 09.

ParticipantThanks, Tony. Hope you had as much fun as I did.

ParticipantDude, email Dave with some explanation and info. Ask him nicely to help you sort out your log in.

ParticipantThe last one we had was at the end of October 2007. There may be another one this year as well.

Slop in the steering wheel is not normal, but can usually be fixed by something as simple as tightening the bolt where the steering hub attaches to the steering column.
Drew, that is usually where you’d find that play. If the tie rod ends are worn, it could be a good opportunity to rebuild that stuff with new rod ends and get familiar with doing a proper alignment. I can help you with that if we got out to test.
Congrats if the deal is done.

ParticipantGo Rick!
Drew, I saw a trick little quick release fastener on the sidepods of a van using karter. You can slide the rear hubs off in 8 seconds with one allen. I’d say your bigger concern is dialing your rig to conveniently hold all the other gear around the kart.
