ParticipantWell Karttuner , are you suggesting that SKUSA should use “other organizations” rule books for tech or any other reason ????
Hmmmm , If I recall there is a threat by SKUSA indicating there could be consequences if any one uses their rule book .
I wonder wether or not SKUSA could suffer consequences if they use the CSC scoring of points without authorization ?
Just having a little fun , but it is food for thought !

ParticipantTom , I did NOT say I was unwilling to negotiate with SKUSA or anyone else for that matter , Integration is one thing , but to just lay down like a bunch of sheep and let them take over what so many of us have worked so hard to build around what collectively the racers want is indeed something else .

ParticipantIt seems to me that what Angie is suggesting is , we should get all the racers (150 or so) to sign up for SKUSA to the tune of $75,00 each ($12,000.00) and a similar amount for each race so that we can operate under the rules of SKUSA , and —- elect the SKUSA regional director to be the CSC race director as well ! Hmmmmm
Does anyone besides me sense a small conflict of intrest here ???
Many of the current racers were not around when Rusty Newberry gave his heart and soul to build SKUSA in this region , he built from scratch to a membership of over 80 members , and had a 95 % approval rating to boot !
Rusty is availible for the Job of Race Director for the CSC , and I believe would represent the CSC and the hearts of the Colorado racers when or if negotiations were required with SKUSA .
I must bring up a couple of my pet peeves about the SKUSA administrations decisions in the past —
# 1 , SKUSA held a National Amature Championship event a few years back , but
refused to invite the amatures (Novice 125 shifter racers) — go figure !
# 2 The G-1 (senior – heavy 125) class was origionally for age 40 and up , SKUSA with their knee jerk decision making policies decided just a couple of weeks before the last race of the season (Las Vegas) felt they just had to make room for a couple Pro Racers , who happened to be under age 40 , dropped the age requirement to age 35 !These things probably don’t mean any thing to many of you , but , we have a good thing started with the CSC , and I for one do not want any SKUSA official in the management structure of the CSC — resources or not !
I am very confident that if the racers are willing to contribute the kind of money to the CSC that is being proposed to send to SKUSA , we could easily hire someone to do some creative editing from existing rulebooks and come up with the answers to that issue !

ParticipantRight on Angie , I suggested to Patrick that he check – in with the race director at each event , so that he can be introduced to every one attending the races so that there would be no doubt as to who is qualified , to attend anyone who may have been injured !!!

ParticipantThe various configurations we select at Bandimere are done to benefit all racers , running the same track all the time gets boring , by offering a new challenge each race prepares the racers for the different tracks all over the country !
We recieved dozens of compliments for the efforts to improve the track surface , as well as the “tear-drop” we raced yesterday !
Several racers were pleased to find that all motors that were post-teched , were found to be legal !
In speaking to Brad , “BLINK” , we both agree to make every effort to put an end to the chemistry labs and expose anyone who has or is tampering with fuel mixtures !

ParticipantWell , If I understand correctly , King George is hosting this entire event , thanking Doug “for his involvement” , with the intention of building kart racing “In Southern Colorado , and CRE Motorsports” !
I support building kart racing in Colorado as much as any one , and I do sincerely hope that King Georges efforts will help the North and Western karters as well.
I will give King George a proportionate amount of support compareable to his efforts to support kart racing in all of Colorado.
You have my wishes ,

ParticipantTrack will be much faster , and SAFER we hope , — take it easy at first , it will be slick untill we get some rubber down .
The curbs won’t be a problem – If you stay off of them !
We will consider some more changes as soon as finaces permit !Ann-Louise and myself sincerely thank every one of you who have supported our efforts to bring about all the improvements to date

ParticipantMake out a “Menu” , showing all costs of your karting – , for example ,
4 sets of tyres — $700.00 – price per set $175.00 price each = $43.75Let them pick , one tyre , one set , or all 4
I think you will find that just about any one you ask will give a little or a lot , think about it even if everyone you ask would give a gallon of gas or one entry fee — it will add up !

ParticipantIf you just want to know what each corner weighs — No Charge , but if we are going to adjust (balance) — the fee is $50.00 !

ParticipantI have only one left in stock !

ParticipantWe have 2 sets of scales at Bandimere – Quite often we “corner-weight” karts — for a fee of course !

ParticipantBlink , I’ll help you at your CSC races if you will help us by teching as many classes as you can .
I am not qualified to post-tech , but I can help in other areas !
Our volunteer tech inspector didn’t show for the race

ParticipantThanks to all of you who attended , Ann-Louise and I really werein a panic mode for several weeks preparing for what turned out to be a monumental day for us.
The racing was udderly fantastic – seeing A.J. Hathaway giving Jack Warrington all he could handle was just short of un-real ! Especially since A.J. was carring a plus 50 Lbs !
Corey Sipes had the race of his life — way 2 go Corey !
130 Racers WOW , I’ve taken a few pictures from altitude of the nearly full pits , I hope Angie will display them for my dearest friend in Colorado springs !
