ParticipantWhen its your day, its your and yesterday was Ben’s. No one was happier than us to see Ben (except maybe Ben and family) have such a strong outing. Actually I heard a rumor that JB added the teardrop to give the Leopard the advantage :rotate: or maybe it was the special Shockwave Parts you had or maybe you found the last remaining stash of the Garwood fuel! Whatever :idn: Good job kid, it was a fun day.

ParticipantThe various configurations we select at Bandimere are done to benefit all racers , running the same track all the time gets boring , by offering a new challenge each race prepares the racers for the different tracks all over the country !
We recieved dozens of compliments for the efforts to improve the track surface , as well as the “tear-drop” we raced yesterday !
Several racers were pleased to find that all motors that were post-teched , were found to be legal !
In speaking to Brad , “BLINK” , we both agree to make every effort to put an end to the chemistry labs and expose anyone who has or is tampering with fuel mixtures !

InactiveJB, you didn’t get any compliants from my camp and in fact I thought it was the biggest and best race day we have been at on your track. The track is smoother and I am all for the tech. Even if it is just checking one item such as checking the carb, next time cams, fuels, etc.
It was however challenging for us to find that “happy medium” in gearing the kart to handle the new curve with the straight aways, but then again, everyone had to deal with that and that is what makes it “technical” racing. Bobby, Rusty, and Drew all did an awesome job (Heck my son even got the black flag point at him).
🙂That one complaint the I heard and agreed with was the desire for lack of the correct word, a podium (the stands that the top three stand on).
my 2 cents,

ParticipantCongrats to the Schermerhorns for a great job. Ben drove very well, and they had the chassis working great.
And JB, we’re kidding, we liked the track to be different. I definately would have had more of an advantage without the teardrop, but then I might not have gotten to have so much fun trying to hold back Donel and Marc

InactiveI almost held off Donal for ya, but figured the dirt path was better. Someone has to keep it interesting out there.

ParticipantI would like to thank Patrick Doran (TaG Senior #63) for being so quick to offer his EMT expertise on Sunday. Both times that the red flag was waved, he was there instantly, asking if he could help. There were EMTs up at the drag strip, as there always are, and they did arrive fairly quick – but it was nice to see someone step up without hesitation to offer assistance.
Thank You Patrick!

ParticipantRight on Angie , I suggested to Patrick that he check – in with the race director at each event , so that he can be introduced to every one attending the races so that there would be no doubt as to who is qualified , to attend anyone who may have been injured !!!
