ParticipantKurt , Yes , I have vocalized several times when SKUSA would make “knee-jerk” rule changes for what-ever self-serving purposes they may have had in mind at the moment !
I do not want to enter a battle of wits with you , or anyone else for that matter (I’d lose anyway) , however , the snow storm did in-fact keep a lot of people away from the meeting ! That being the case , we do have an opportunity to make Right a perhaps Wrong move made by just two out of as many as 20 dedicated racers !
This issue has nothing to do with you , if you want to make an issue about the brakes in the 80cc class why don’t you start a thread based upon that ?????
A couple of years ago we had 6 “heavies” , and not a huge , (pardon the pun) G-1 class when we voted in the heavier weight requirement , only to have all of the “heavies” but one , not finish the season !
Show me 6 or more “heavies” and I’ll be the first to offer to score them separately !

ParticipantSpacy , besides yourself , are there any other (G-1’s) over there who would, given a chance , vote for the weight to be 395# ?
I plan on having a quick show of hands before the Qualifiing begins on April 4th , do you or Brad have any problems with making amendments based on circumstances of this nature ???J.B.

ParticipantI think Barry was the only one who wanted to keep the weight at 410 , but I doubt if he’s going to actually race !

ParticipantI think the PMT is looking at the CSC due to the sheer #’s — CSC IS bigger than the PMT !

ParticipantShow up early at the 1st CSC race so we can count noses , (or waist-lines) , I expect a on sight vote to split the class !

ParticipantSpencer , as long as you are using OEM parts there is no reason why you cannot discard the “SEAL” , and do your own repairs while racing in the TAG / CSC series !
If you decide to race in the ROTAX programs , you will have to have an authorized repair center Re-Seal your motor , I think they charge something like $50-$60.00 !

ParticipantWe voted at the meeting to adopt the SKUSA rules for TAG , I don’t see where the arguement is !

ParticipantLet’s keep in mind , the main reason the C.S.C. exists today is — the big three sanctioning bodies , couldn’t or , as I believe , wouldn’t support local racing in this area !
That being the case , we , as racers wanted a little or a lot more competition as well as recognition for our efforts ! C.S.C. offers both !
It’s a far cry from perfect , but we are trying !

ParticipantGood to hear from you David , You are Right On !
In case you readers don’t know , David Harold built most of the motors for a lot of these wins , even tho some of the drivers of the DFM’s had other Builders !
David is still building motors , if anyone wants to contact him I can help !
