ParticipantI do not think you quite understand what you read, but these drivers were on DFM’s when winning national RACES, not CHAMPIONSHIPS, 3 supernationls wins on DFM’s
Aj, and Brandon the 2 times, i believe somone won a pro moto race in one, i forgot who it was. Please look and results on SKUSA archive and see these results for yourself.December 16, 2003 at 1:52 am #45570Anonymous

The first national race won by a Co-race/Baily DFM. Driver: Ryan Baily in the SKUSA K1 class. Location: South Bend Indiana/1998. DFM Model – America.
The second race was won by Co-race/Hamilton DFM. Driver: AJ Noud in the SKUSA S-2 class. Location: Super Nats @ the X-Plex/1999. DFM model – Las Vegas.
The Third and Fourth race was won by a Shifter Kart City/Scarberry DFM. Driver: Brandon Scarberry in the FMX class/2001-2002. Location: Super Nats. @ the X-Plex & Rio. DFM model Las Vegas
Other Notable National finishes With a DFM
IKF long track national/Duffy win at Big Willow Cal. by none other than current CRG jugernaut Ron White. I believe, if memory serves, on a Co-Race/Riann DFM naskart. Year was 2000.
Multiple national podium finishes between Ryan Baily, AJ Noud and Brandon Scarberry in the afore mentioned classes.
Boat loads of Podiums and Championships on the local level.
Scott Richards garnered a SKUSA National Number 10 in S2 in 1999. DFM model Las Vegas
What did all these wins have to do with JB? Well it had alot to do with JB NOT touching any of theses karts prior to or during the race. It did however have a lot to do with the DFM’s creator Franchesco (can’t remember last name) and DFM Italian hot shoe Romeo Chiode working with the drivers and their tuners to tune in the chassis. However some one had to cough up the cash to get the two pasta eaters over here. So in a round about way it does come back to JB and his willingness to do what was nessary to give these drivers another tool to run at the front.
You also have to give JB credit for trying to help out those who venture out to the national events whether they were on DFM or not. 🙂 I know JB has helped me out a ton in the past few years.JB may have won a fist fight/cussin championship or a knock down drag out, all night drinking/gambiling National but I would venture to say that’s about it. 😉

Inactivewell buddy, most people like JB in some way or form, and this post does not have much in the way of insults to him, so if you want to insult JB, you insult COLORADO
December 19, 2003 at 11:12 pm #45580Curt Kistler
ParticipantHey, I live in Colorado and he didn’t insult me. I think good old JB can handle himself on this one.
Go get him 34D!December 20, 2003 at 2:11 am #45581J.B. Olmstead
ParticipantGreg , I must admire your patience , 1998 you say , well please forgive me for not remembering you !
I try to give each one of my customers a little bit more in return than they expect , thinking they may think well of me !
If you have a problem , why haven’t you come to me to see if we could work things out ?
Five years seems like a long time .
I’ll bet if you would call or E-mail , we would probably end up good friends .

InactiveHey, I feel left out of the credits 😕
The first DFM brought into the country was by JB and myself (CO-Race). The chassis was for Ryan Bailey to compete in the 80 Junior class at the SuperNationals in 1998. Ryan started from the pole that race. Ryan won his PMT race in 1999 at South Bend in the 80 Senior class.
Jared Scarberry actually won the SKUSA 80 Junior Amatuer National race at South Bend in 2001.
A lot of time, money and dedication by good people help put Colorado on the map with SKUSA in DFMs.
