ParticipantAJ was the man back in the day of KT racing. I know he still holds the track record. I do not know what the time is, but Brad or Bobby would know. Since there has been talk of KT racing again, I may come out of retirement to play once in a while and maybe challenge the record AJ holds. We’ll just have to wait and see if my schedule allows the ability to race again.

OLD SCHOOL RULESIan
ParticipantIt would be nice to know the reasons behind the strict no playing rules.
I don’t think it’s a rule but, maybe a suggestion that for their safety it’s probably not wise to play where they were or unsupervised. I have seen too many times a child or even an adult almost get hurt because they are playing or not paying attention in an area where there is alot of activity. Can I get a witness?

ParticipantWhat it clear for who it was for in the race?
Because racers should be looking ahead for flags and differnt signals if there are things wrong.
Mike and I thought of this during the off season, so there was no confusion as to who the “Black Flag” was for. It seemed many of times there was confusion who we were pointing the flag at, so instead of pointing the flag at a group of racers and have maybe the right person or the worong person pull off, we left know doubt as to who we were reffering to, thus removing a potential dangerous situation from the track and race.
Give me your thoughts.

ParticipantI am in Jersey taking care of my Dad and helping my Mother thru his cancer. His sisters from Canada and England are here with us at this time with other relatives from Maryland, Florida and Texas to follow once I leave.
I am pleased for the positve feedback that I have read thru this forum. And I know that WE as a karting community are working towards the betterment of OUR racing series.
I want to thank Older Mike, my right hand man, for stepping in, Jim and THE TRACK for trusting me and my FRIENDS, and lastly, Kevin, Ryan, Blake, and younger Mike (no relation) for stepping up in my abscence.
As the Governator says:
I’ll B Back

What did you think of the Pit “Black” Board?

Hopefully, Dad will return home from the hospital today to celebrate my B-Day. That would be the best gift I could wish for.Best Wishes,

ParticipantRegretfully, I will not be attending the 1st event of this season.
Please don’t take my not be at the 1st event as an opportunity to think this is the way things are going to be.
Use this as a way to perfect the enjoyment we all get from karting and improve. In my abscence get to know MY RIGHT HAND MAN Mike and the crew there. They are there for your safety.
As I said at the Drivers meeting, myself and my crew have come up with some ways to make things SAFER.
If anyone has questions we can address them.Keep It Safe,
Ian
