To be clear. The last formal series points race for PPKRC was last weekend at IMI.
PPKRC is currently working on plans for and setting a date, time and location for the 2013 Awards Banquet, possibly as early as mid September. :direct As soon as we know we will pass the word.
A few PPKRC members are running at TTAC this coming weekend and IF things workout with Bandy and the CJKC, we may have some TAG and Shifter racers racing their next month.
😀 Good News, the 501 status has been renewed by the state and we will be looking to work with all karting organizations, tracks and clubs during the off season to advance safe, affordable, Family friendly karting in 2014. :green
That’s all for now. Good luck to all racing with SKUSA at TTAC this weekend!!!!! :win

ParticipantYes Richard, in fact we were talking with some guys today at SBR about getting to IMI on the 18th. The guy you mentioned (Mark) just bought a TAG and I believe he put the Animal on ebay. However, we will reach out to him to come up to IMI.

ParticipantAwesome Richard, really like what you guys are doing. Good luck, anything we can do to help support you’re efforts we will do.
They are so much fun and don’t break the bank.

ParticipantI have to agree with Rodney. The Animal/206 is a purpose build kart racing engine for about the same cost as a Clone and the Briggs has a long history of cost effective reliability. Richard and Greg, if you stay with the Clones, please don’t exclude the guys with the 206’s and or Animals. The cost of getting a Clone to perform and not explode would be more than what a 206 cost.
For what it’s worth, we do like the concept!

ParticipantIf my memory serves me correct, in the past, no one has had the ability to post on the news forum or on the home/front page with out submitting request through the site administrator. The fact is, we (PPKRC) have submitted a number of post request this season that never made it. No matter how you slice it, it’s pretty obvious as to why that happened. :zombie
I’m out and moving on.

ParticipantHello Stan
I could be wrong, but I don’t remember anyone but the site administrator having the authority to place post on the home page. So no one else can as you say “knock you down”.
Not our call, however, do not think it would be a good thing to simply have a free for all where anyone can post there without going through, in this case Mike. In the past ,most of the things that have received home page viewing/consideration have been major announcements about upcoming special events, race day schedules or special recognition press releases highlighting Colorado Drivers or Race Team accomplishments. Similar to what one might see on Ekarting News. Just our suggestion that everything else goes out on the general or organization forums, series/club websites or in a group/club email. We trust Mike will resolve with a balanced and effective way, where all will once again have an opportunity to get all call applicable home page announcements.
Have a Great Weekend!

ParticipantThank you Mike. Like you, we absolutely want to do all we can to support ALL Colorado Karting and truly appreciate and respect the challenges you have in managing the site with so many wanting to get front page viewing. Simply shows how important the Colorado Karter site is to everyone.
Moving ahead, focusing on the positive something coming up, we would like to have a opportunity to get a post on the front page announcing the Kart Racing for Heroes Event and CJKC/PPKRC Race at SBR next month 3 and 4 August. We are preparing a press release when you are ready.
Hope to see you Sunday at TTAC.
