August 19, 2013 at 3:32 pm #66572richardhensleyParticipantThanks for a great weekend. My girls had a great time driving the clones. We will be back.

August 19, 2013 at 8:06 pm #66573Roger MillerParticipantOn behalf of PPKRC thanks to Brad and the CJKC for a great weekend of racing. The weekend was a great success and it shows that we can all run together and have a great time on and off the track. Rodney, and gang, way to go to get the that junior 1 and others back on the track, that’s what this is all about helping one another and making sure we can all participate.
Saturday’s night’s bench racing went well into Sunday morning (2:30am), thanks Guys for a great time. For those who still don’t get it, you are missing some of the best racing, no pressure racing and affordable entry fees ($55 entry fee). By not showing up and supporting family and club racing you become part of the problem. This recent movement is taking hold and by going to other tracks as groups of drivers, not just as separate clubs is what’s it all about. Who really care’s what club or organization you belong to, just race and have fun doing it.
Jay had it right, Brad, way to run a race facility, no B.S and no drama, just a lot of fun for everyone involved. I didn’t even finish the main race, I had great view of some of the best racing this season. Bottom line, it was the best weekend of racing for me in long time and the friendships being built are some of the best.
2014 is looking really good for club racing and moving towards bigger numbers at each race wherever they’re held. Hopefully next year we are “all” running at all the tracks regardless of club affiliation or organization. To the Track Owners who support club racing thank you for what you do for both the serious and the not so serious drivers.

August 20, 2013 at 1:33 am #66575Ray LovesteadParticipantI would add that 3 races is barely enough to wet the appetite. Next year I’d like to see 4-5 races at IMI.

I’ve had 2 calls/messages in the last 24 hours saying your wish is granted Jay.
August 20, 2013 at 5:05 pm #66577richardhensleyParticipantLeo,
When you get details about tags and shifters at action karting, can you please post them here?
Richard
August 20, 2013 at 8:47 pm #66578Eddy WyattParticipantAlso if Adult Clone/Animal Class can run??
Thanks,
EddyAugust 22, 2013 at 5:52 pm #66579Leo AhearnParticipantRichard – to be clear – I am not a representative of the kid kart club nor Action Karting – that said, I spoke w JB a bit ago and he said the shifter/TaG thing is still to be worked out.
Hopefully a representative from one or both organizations will post details once they are arrived upon.

To be clear. The last formal series points race for PPKRC was last weekend at IMI.
PPKRC is currently working on plans for and setting a date, time and location for the 2013 Awards Banquet, possibly as early as mid September. :direct As soon as we know we will pass the word.
A few PPKRC members are running at TTAC this coming weekend and IF things workout with Bandy and the CJKC, we may have some TAG and Shifter racers racing their next month.
😀 Good News, the 501 status has been renewed by the state and we will be looking to work with all karting organizations, tracks and clubs during the off season to advance safe, affordable, Family friendly karting in 2014. :green
That’s all for now. Good luck to all racing with SKUSA at TTAC this weekend!!!!! :win

:coSeptember 6, 2013 at 3:42 am #66581Stacey ShepardParticipantI can confirm that Action Karting and the CJKC will be hosting a TAG and Shifter class this weekend at Action Karting. Price is $60 plus $10 if you need to rent a transponder.
