Participant:usa: KART RACING FOR HEROES: What a super time at SBR Motorsports. Sixty-five drivers strong representing the military and fire departments. Lemans starts. Winning teams hundred of seconds apart. All drivers received lunch provided by Dominos, KRFH event T-shirts and plaques and PPKRC provided special trophies for the winning teams. All attendees discussed the underlying theme of the event – to prevent impaired driving and using kart racing as a means to relieve job-related stress without the use of drugs or alcohol.
These events DO NOT HAPPEN without a strong team. The PPKRC took the challenge of a KART RACING FOR HEROES RACE. They didn’t just bring it to and OK level. They shot for the moon and hit a bull’s-eye. Shade structures, gravel areas, bleachers, timing and scoring, track and parking personnel. What a great event.
The racing Sunday (tag races) were like the old days. It can happen again. We all need to be involved and devote ourselves to making it happen.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
