ParticipantHey Deason
Possible alternative, Formula KT-100, air cooled, direct drive with 3rd bearing support on the pipe. Lots of used ones out there, low cost, low maintenance, great parts availability, and you could run the dang things with PPKRC.
Can you handle “The Truth”!!!!!
LOL,
Eddy

ParticipantHey All Young Racers
We had the opportunity to stop by Anthony’s dad’s shop yesterday and check this very cool car out. For those of you who don’t know, just a few years ago Anthony was running a Briggs World Formula at CRE. Goes to show what determination, a positive attitude and a little support can lead to. This big car start up program can eventually get a young gun into a Nation Wide ride or even Sprint Cup.
Best of Luck Anthony

My understanding is, if there are enough entries to field an OPEN class, tires will be open as well.
However, it looks like since PPKRC is now TAG USA sanctioned, there should be a fit for all. Exceptions can be covered under the local option rule, just like the PPKRC 250cc 4 stroke shifter class.
On tires in general, a post is coming that explains the decision making process behind the Maxxis spec. tires. I recommend we move this discussion back to the PPKRC forum.

If I’ve got this correct, if your buyers want to run The Track in the Mile High Series, they need a Rotax (RMAX) or Stock Moto (local option).
They can run the same at PPKRC at PPIR, IMI, Bandy and GJMS. Additionally, they can run any TAG engine package (see TAG USA rules) and local option classes as well.
Good Luck

ParticipantGood points Justin
We simply want Ronnie and Roman and other young folks who meet the weight requirements to know they are welcome in the TAG Master Series at PPIR with PPKRC.
Like many we have great respect for Scott and are happy for him and the sucess he is having in business and karting. Certainly do not begrudge him or anyone else who has the resources to achieve the goals they set. Livin’ the dream…
Stay tuned for an important annoucement on fuel and tire options for the 2011 PPKRC Series.
Have a great season all!

I agree Jay. Never had the opportunity to race with Roman, did run with Ronnie and enjoyed the competition. We were 1 and 1 in wins at IMI.
Both are welcome in TAG Master with PPKRC at PPIR. Come on down this year guys.

I stand corrected… Nigel was the 1993 Indy 500 “Rookie of the Year” started 8th finished 3rd, then went on to win the IndyCar Championship that same year. He’s still one of my all time favorite F1 and Indy car drivers.
