ParticipantYou aren’t missing anything Rich. You should see both later today, or maybe in the morning. Sorry for the delay. I will also have copies of the points at the next IMI and/or CSC race.
Thank you for your patience!

ParticipantTom, I will try to get that info today.
The registration for this event will go through the CSC, so look for forms and such to be available in a day or two. Will try to take care of as much in advance as we can.
Thanks

ParticipantThe Junior 1 Four Cycles will run at IMI on CSC dates, as those double as club races, too. Also the Sr 4 Cycle – Briggs Modified folks will be there.
Don, we were going to leave the class, as we figured that the turnout would be good at IMI and AK. However, with the two registered ready to switch classes, there wasn’t much choice.
As for the S3, that is a different story as that class easily runs well with other classes on the track, so will never require its own track time AND it is expected to be growing in numbers. It is also a national SKUSA class.
thanks,

ParticipantThere is good news and bad news. Good news is… we won’t see this problem again. The bad news is….the Animal class is done for the CSC. With only two registered, there is no reason to continue it. Both of those registered have offered, and will be switching to Comer 80s. This means that there won’t be any Junior 1 Animals running at Action Karting on May 8th. As for the Mini Max on the track with the Comer 80s, I don’t think we will be seeing that again, either.

ParticipantI have put unofficial results up on the News section. It is going to take me a little longer to post the detailed results with times and such, and the points. For the rest of the events, this should not be an issue, and results should be up immediately! Yeah!

ParticipantYou are welcome Mike. Thanks for being patient. It has been busy, and I am also trying to get the family packed up to go! We were supposed to be on the way there already, now looks like we will leave dark and early.
See you there,

ParticipantCurt,
you can run whatever you want on the front and sides, it is the rear plate only we are concerned about.angie

ParticipantJack, the CSC plates are fine. The requirement of background color is for the rear plate only.

ParticipantMike,
sorry for the mixup. You are right, as of the meeting, the plan was to have Big T at all events. It was mutually decided that it would work better for the GJ events, for the track to handle it. That was a last minute decision, and has caused some inconvenience…sorry. Hopefully you can understand why we have to have people purchase from the track, who is the supplier for this event. I do understand your position, let’s talk at the track.Prices are :
MS98 5.85/gal
MS93 6.00/gal
C-12 7.50/gal
RS 7 9.50
RC3 8.25Stacey has the original formula oil – prior to any problems. According to VP, all of the “bad” oil should be out of circulation, and the problem has been corrected.
Richard, of course you won’t be required to buy oil if you don’t use oil.
We had to spec an oil in order to make fuel testing managable. We chose VP oils because of the arrangement with the supplier. IF there is a problem with the VP oils, it will be addressed, and a different spec oil considered.
thanks, see you at the track…

ParticipantStu, Stacey has stocked up on fuel and oil for the event, and in order to be sure that he sells it all, fuel/oil purchase is required with entry. Price is the same as Big T, too.
This will be the normal procedure for all CSC events, for the same reason. The CSC gets a cut of fuel sales at the event, as well, so it benefits the series.
Thanks,
AngieAngie MacEwen
ParticipantCurt,
Stacey is right on this one. Since he has stocked up on fuel and oil, he has to be assured he can sell it. And that will be the procedure for all CSC events.
Big T is not going over the mountain… by mutual agreement, GJMS is providing the fuel and oil. Big T will be at the other events. There will be fuel testing – and hopefully it won’t take any precious track time – but it will take some time, and you will have to be patient. This is something that is important, and needs to be done.
You will get a voucher for fuel and oil from GJMS when you pay for it with your entry. Then you will go and pick up your fuel and oil. You will go back to your pit and mix the fuel / oil as you normally would (leaving out any enhancers). Nothing else is different until which time you are asked to give a fuel sample. This may everyone, or may be the top 3-10, or may just be random. Be prepared, and be legal. You can bring your own fuel to test with prior to race day, but GJMS will be selling it for the same price as Big T, so you could save the hassle of toting it over the mountain if you wish.
Hope that helps.
