Well, everyone probably knows this, but let’s get it on the record. We are going, and Cole races in the Junior 1 class.

    Anybody else?

Rich, I am looking forward to meeting your wife! We are going Thursday, and staying til Monday. Like you, we are trying to make the most of the trip. I really like Steamboat, although it has been many years since I have been up there.

When your son does the write up on you, please have him forward me a copy, and I will use it in the newsletter!

I need to get more info on the Rotax Challenge, so that I can follow and print more about it. I would like to cover all of the CO kart racers as they compete in the various series, it just isn’t always easy getting the info and results. I have done so with SKUSA, and tried with Stars of Tomorrow. If you have any ideas, contacts, whatever, to help me do the Rotax stuff, just let me know.

    thanks, see you in Steamboat!

    Hi Graeme,

We are also staying until Monday, and from talking to folks around the pits, we won’t be the only ones. We did that the last trip to GJMS, too, and it was so nice to just relax Sunday evening, and head home in the morning!

    See you in Steamboat!

Rich, they aren’t out yet, but will be soon! I believe there will be something to print out, and then mail on to Byron. I will warn you that pre registration will be by check or money order only. I will post here as soon as some kind of registration is available.

It is going to be quite an event! I am really looking forward to it.

    Thanks,

I am going to try to get Byron to check in here to answer questions about Steamboat. This one I happen to know. It is going to be in a parking lot. The parking lot of Steamboat resort itself. This way, too, it will be available for practice on Saturday, and hopefully Friday, too.
There will be plenty of pit parking, where trailers can be left, I believe there will not be a charge for pit spots, but that will make them a first come, first served basis. There is lots of lodging info in the current issue of The Colorado Karter. And more information will be available soon.

    thanks,
    Angie
