ParticipantGayle,
You, Rich, and your family our in our thoughts and prayers every day. I follow all of the entries on the Caring Bridge site, and thank you for taking the time to share Rich’s progress with us. I am sorry I didn’t get up to visit while he was in Loveland. Let us know when he is ready for visitors in his new place, and we will come down to see him. If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.Happy Holidays,

some kind soul had turned it in
That was my boy, Wyatt that found your watch, Kirk! He will be glad to know that you got it back. I didn’t know about it until the ride home, when he told us about finding a watch and turning it in. It was broken, he said, but could be fixed, the pin just came off on one side of the band. Is that about right?
Thanks to all. It was a great event to be a part of, for sure! I couldn’t get over the venue – looking around at the city skyline, Elitch Gardens, Invesco, Pepsi Center — wow!

How many times did you and Ken hear: Are we there yet, are we there yet……?
Only a few times, really. From Ft Collins it was a 2 hour drive. What about that storm that rolled in around 5? We were heading out, but it was pouring, for sure![attachment=0:wa14ru4m]highplains4.jpg[/attachment:wa14ru4m]

ParticipantHey Kurt, Thanks for that great idea – we had a great time. It is quite a drive out there, but worth it! Oh, and thanks to Mr. Copple for letting the kids sit in the race car.

ParticipantTrack is busy with karts now, pits are filling up! Looks like the live timing is going to be working. Things are moving right along!

ParticipantMike,
Stacy answered that question over in the “Racing the Rockies” section — where a question regarding Racing the Rockies should probably be asked :loony: …..

Per Rich’s son as of last night….. Rich is still critical but stable. They have him sedated and intubated. He has several hemorrhages on his brain but no vertebrae or spinal issues. A neurosurgeon will be seeing him in the morning and we will learn more at that time. Keep pulling for him.One of the news articles published….
