    Tom,

Not sure what you mean, that change would put the Tag Sr and Masters back to back. As it is, there is a class in between for you. That is about as good as it gets after considering all people that run two classes or have a dad in one class and a kid in another. There is no way to please everyone, we have tried to be as considerate as possible with the racers’ needs.

OK guys… enough already. I don’t like to have to step in and play moderator on the forum, but this subject has run its course. There is no need to drag this out with name calling, bickering, and so on. If you have more to say to one another, pick up the phone, or send private emails.

I have enough to worry about these days, with another big race on the horizon, and the kids out of school for the summer. And now, every time I leave the house for a few hours, I have to worry about what is going to be posted on the site for the world to see, when I return!

Thanks for letting this one end here.:peace

Rodney, sorry for the delay. We have been at the track the last two days.

I have asked for a better explanation on this, and will post it, or have someone else post the answer.

Last year (2004), ICC and moto ran together in several classes. So this is a transition.

I do believe that at the Nations Cup and SuperNats you will find ICC with a class of its own, S1 should be moto only. G1 has ICC allowed this year, and I don’t know about S2.

hope you are having a great weekend.

    Sorry, streets.

This is a warning to all. You need to keep it clean, and preferably considerate. There are other karting forums that may thrive on this kind of thing, but not this one

    Thank You

    Brian,
I wrote this response on another thread ……

There was some disagreement with the Kid Kart parents (surprise, surprise) about whether the class should run as it did last year, with open gearing and drilled out exhaust OR follow the new CSC rules to slow them down a bit, and run a spec gear and stock exhaust. So it was put to a vote, which turned out to be 50/50. Therefore the decision was made to split the class and run an A class, with open gearing and drilled exhaust; and a B class with spec gear and stock exhaust. Now, part of the reason that people voted for the B setup had to do with speed and safety, and those people may not show up to race because the faster setup is still on the track with the slower setup. So far it seems to be working just fine.

    Jay,

You are right, the kids all had a great time!

I also wanted to point out that the next club race at IMI is also the CSC race, therefore ALL karts will need to be to CSC specs. The IMI racers will still get club points based on the A and B classes.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks Don.
And the “Sticky” Post at the very top of General Discussion, titled IMI Motorsports Schedule and Results, gives links to race results and points.

Also, I should have current points sheets at each IMI race for everyone’s review.

If you have questions, please contact me!

Just so you know…. IMI carries it, also. They always have, according to Bobby, because the motocross people use it, too.

    Scott,
This time I am not going to delete your post, rather just respond…

Just let it go. Cody won, he was teched, and he passed, again. If you are implying that Dennis doesn’t know what he’s doing, you are wrong. He is the best thing that the CSC has seen for tech in a long time, and I hope that we can convince him to stay with us despite all of the bickering going on. If you think there is something in particular that is being overlooked in tech, I would invite you to write a letter and send it to the CSC, privately.

I did create this forum for discussion and communication among the karters, tracks, and organizations, but pointed remarks and digs are not called for and I don’t have to tolerate it. Please don’t do it again on my site. I am sure there are people here that can tell you where those type of conversations are allowed, even welcome, but it is not here.

One of the things we are trying to teach are kids is sportsmanship, that includes winning and losing. Dealing with the various personalities and politics of the racing scene are all a part of it, too.

    Thank you Marc.

Snowman, let’s not start that here, please.
Tom can tell his story if, when, and to who he wants, no one else needs to elaborate.

Ok Ok. So someone get me the distance of the short track at AK, and for that matter, verify a distance for the regular track – and we can put some accurate numbers in there. And while you are at it, get one for the short track at IMI, so I can get it right the first time.
