ParticipantScott,
This time I am not going to delete your post, rather just respond…Just let it go. Cody won, he was teched, and he passed, again. If you are implying that Dennis doesn’t know what he’s doing, you are wrong. He is the best thing that the CSC has seen for tech in a long time, and I hope that we can convince him to stay with us despite all of the bickering going on. If you think there is something in particular that is being overlooked in tech, I would invite you to write a letter and send it to the CSC, privately.
I did create this forum for discussion and communication among the karters, tracks, and organizations, but pointed remarks and digs are not called for and I don’t have to tolerate it. Please don’t do it again on my site. I am sure there are people here that can tell you where those type of conversations are allowed, even welcome, but it is not here.
One of the things we are trying to teach are kids is sportsmanship, that includes winning and losing. Dealing with the various personalities and politics of the racing scene are all a part of it, too.

ParticipantJust wanted to say that the reason Cody wins all of the time is that he is a very good driver. We were out practicing at IMI and Cody was just flying by Tyler beating him by 5sec. a lap on the short track. I talked to Mike and we had Cody drive Tylers car. He was running just as fast in Tylers car as he was in his. Point being motor makes a difference but driver makes an even bigger difference! Mike is also willing to offer any help answer any questions from anyone out there. Please let this be a fun learning experience for the kids.

ParticipantI will say this, he’s learned to take hand signals really well! I used to have a neighbor with a Golden Retriever that could do that, it was amazing!

ParticipantIf you spent as much time practicing with your son as you do taking shots at a 6 year old kid you might be competitive. Sounds like you are spending to much time with your neighbors golden retriever!!! If you really have to have the 1st. place trophy come to next weekends IMI race and run the spec gear and stock muffler class(which you voted for) and your kid just might win. As far as I know there has been only one kid the last two races that raced in that class.
