ParticipantThat format for times is really cool. Curious though whats with the seperation of kid karts? I know it dosen’t concern me as I have no kid in the class. Just curiosity.

ParticipantBrian,
I wrote this response on another thread ……There was some disagreement with the Kid Kart parents (surprise, surprise) about whether the class should run as it did last year, with open gearing and drilled out exhaust OR follow the new CSC rules to slow them down a bit, and run a spec gear and stock exhaust. So it was put to a vote, which turned out to be 50/50. Therefore the decision was made to split the class and run an A class, with open gearing and drilled exhaust; and a B class with spec gear and stock exhaust. Now, part of the reason that people voted for the B setup had to do with speed and safety, and those people may not show up to race because the faster setup is still on the track with the slower setup. So far it seems to be working just fine.

InactiveAn agreement, a settlement, a compromise based upon voting??? What is the Colorado karting community doing?? 😯 And since they have to run together they are setting them up by time/positioning instead of class? how ingenious 🙂
