ParticipantThat’s awesome Bob. Ronnie can drive the wheels off of anything and that 4-stroke is no exception.
Ronnie may not go home tired but you sure as heck will.
Good luck to you guy’s and let me know if I can do anything to help.

I was thinking of running a set of used Mojos just to see what all the fuss is about.
New or used doesn’t seem to make much difference. Don’t need to worry about bicycling with the Mojo, they lack a little in side grip.
Jansen, you’d probably be better off taking the tires off of your kart stand for those off road excusions you like to take!!! See below!
And on a serious note. Congrats on your points leading performance so far. There ALL gunning for you now!!!

ParticipantScott,
Sounds like you might have an older model knob for your exhaust valve. Get a thumb screw style knob that can be adjusted on track and set it where it feels best for you. The spring rate and bellows (condition / stiffness) seem to have a fairly big affect on where to run this screw.
If you take the power valve apart, make sure you have the stud re threaded properly and the gasket oriented to not block the vacuum port.
Clean your power valve after a track day, keep your battery topped off during the day, keep your starter bendix clear of chain lube, keep your chain lubed, aligned and at the proper tension, change your gear oil every couple days, keep an eye on your exhaust baffle (for breaks) Go out and run the wheels off the thing. It is a reasonably powered, low maintenance package that is great to get experience with.
Glad to see you’re reading the manual. There are a lot of questions answered there but, our altitude can have fairly significant variances in a few area’s
I’ve seen you sniffing around the forum. Good luck and welcome to Colorado Karting. If Roman and I can do anything to help, let us know.

ParticipantLucy and my wedding anniversary has fallen on a race weekend for the past several years. It was last weekend while we were at GJ. I think the race track is a great way to spend an anniversary but…. the wife thinks otherwise.
If I don’t take her away for the weekend, I’ll be sleeping in my camper!!!
So, no. I can’t come out and play this weekend. Guess I’m wup’d.
Go get em guy’s!!!

For anyone interested…
Our next race is Saturday night in Erie, CO (same exit as IMI) at Colorado National Speedway.
We will be racing there on June 16th and June 23rd.This weekend we’re racing sprint cars. These cars are fun to watch and haul butt. Come out and support your former kart racers Josh Fellows, Julee Jamison, and Chad Corken.

And KR! Talk about having someone to pull for…!!!

ParticipantI’m sure Jansen could find a full ride sponsorship, based his recent performance. (Target Buweiser etc…) And just totally dominate the whole thing. Probably wouldn’t owe Brad one cent for consumables after the smoke cleared.
He’d fit right in at the pool! It would be a sight to see that man thong clad missle going off the top platform entering the pool without so much as a splash.
He could arrive on the Budweiser yacht and be dropped at his pit spot via the Bud helicopter with a Bud girl under each arm. There to help him with his goggles and scarf, of course. (maybe a thong tweak were and there) Camera flash’s glaring pushing his way through the throngs of reporters and groupies. It would be crazy.
His helmet could be hung beside the greatest F1 pilots of all time. Oh the humanity. They would make a movie about it called grand pri#*! Starring “Man Thong Jansen” The man who never won in the first corner.
Jansens in Brad!

I think it was that and the Krispy Kreme donuts that I lost count how many I ate. All I needed to really go was a mountain dew for dessert!
Or maybe a couple quick cranks to the back of that manthong!

That Tag Masters class is nuts!!! Great Job Mike…Multiple lead changes, incredible chase downs, last lap passes, wrecks, tight packs made it anyone guess. It was some very good competition on track. I don’t see any of the big / old guy’s holding back (because they have to go to work tommorow) once the visor flips down. It’s on!!!

ParticipantCurt you could ride Jansens Scooter. God knows he riden it pretty hard.
Rick Schmidt
ParticipantCharles,
I think you would have cleared the goal post!
We are really going to miss both of you racing. Just won’t seem quite the same.

A.J would certainly biyatch slap someone experienced enough to know better for doing something careless as that! :hit
