ParticipantOk so place the weight as I said earlier and go from there. If possible get it on the scales tomorrow at Bandi and place the weight with the kart on the scales so that the kart will remain balanced.

ParticipantSadley yes, you will have to drill more holes in the new seat. 😕 I would place one 5#’er under the front of your seat. Right under your family jewels. I would place another on the side of the seat near the starter box, and the rest on the back of the seat as high as you can. If possible try and keep the weight off of the front of the kart. Also What are you running for seat struts? Do you have access to a set of scales?

ParticipantJoey,
Your best bet is to go to a local SCUBA diving shop and pick up some diving weights. Try and get as many 5# as you can, as it will make it easier to place the weight where you need it. Then just bolt them on to the seat. With bandi being super bumpy i would double nut and safety wire them in place. How much weight do you have to add? How tall are you?
Hope this helps,

ParticipantYa know there is also a Poll system on this forum too! 😆

ParticipantMan ya’ll are making me sick ❗ Why can’t we just stick with the SKUSA rules. I mean ya, we are not SKUSA, but no one ever said we were or are trying to be. You have to admit that SKUSA’s new tech director seems like he has really put more than thought into this new rules package-he has done testing and working with the other sanctioning bodies. It looks to me like they have really taken the effort to do things right the first time, nothing aginst previous tech guys, but this way hopefully we wont have to change things mid-season so it will be competitive. I think Bill has a point- just post the rules and the people are going to race. They may not like it at first but you can’t please everyone and they do want to race.

ParticipantOr you could just call JB and I’m sure he could have them in 5 days or less!!! Lets support our local shops! After all they are the ones that are there on race day arien’t they?

ParticipantStacey,
For the most part not much was changed. The biggest thing was that we voted on one (1) drop race. IF i remember correctly the vote was something like 18-35. The other thing that was nice to hear is that there will be a tech guy at most if not all of the races.
The other big thing was 30mm Carbs for all ICC’s. So this means that no more MONDO carbs for thePro ICC boys!!!
There were a few things I was not very clear on and hopefully someone can fill us in on those. #1 rain racing and #2 tire rules for all classes but Pro Shifter. Pro shifter will have Open tires.
