ParticipantPlease don’t take this the wrong way. As I do think it is great to have some sponsers supporting our racing of karts. It also seems that Stacey is working a lot at getting some sponcership for our events.
I just am wondering how a sponcer determines that they are going to sponcer a class? Like Pepsi last year at Grand Junction. Did Pepsi come in and say we would like to sponcer the pro shifter class? Or did they want to sponcer the kart races. Or did Stacey go to them and ask them to sponcer the pro shifter races? I can see Company that has ties to a class of racing wanting to sponcer that particular class, yet I also think it is up to the promoters of the races to try and evenly distribute a Companies sponcership to the entire advertized event. I realize that when a sponcer is willing to sponcer something you take what you can get. Even with Ben Hills sponcership this year, I would think he would gain more recognition to more people at the event if the money was distibuted in a different way than giving it to three of the 300 people that attend. I do remember a great feed Stacey put togather last year, and I also remeber who bought me my last free lunch. 🙂 No big deal it is just easy to post different pionts of veiw on forums like this. keep up the good work Stacey!April 23, 2004 at 3:27 pm #46885Tom Dennin
ParticipantStacey,
With the number of teams that are supposed to be coming for the CSC event in May, will there be reserved pit spaces? If so, how does one go about reserving a spot?
Thanks,
Tom
