I’ll talk to my dad when he gets back from Chicago, but look for the possibility of doing some arrive and drives on our equipment.

Count us in, we will run either DD2 or tag, or maybe both depending on drivers.

Will there be an age limit? Can we run TaG junior drivers in with seniors on our team?

    What about class minimum weights?

Ian Koentges and I are for sure in, maybe I’ll convince ol Adrian Carrio to come up and make a run.

If your looking to buy online try http://www.mcmaster.com

For local options look to MSC Industrial Supply, they have locations all around the state and will have what your looking for. They also have an online ordering company which is called J&L Industrial Supply.

Well It depends on which year of the shootout is was. Jeff raced the first one, we both raced the second, and I raced the last two.

    Rick,
That actually would be a fun video to have. Too bad going down the straight I forgot I was on reds, yellows would have made that pass stick.

I need to find a copy of that dvd then, I know I have one somewhere. We definently never had a chassis like that, I think at the time of the video we were still running KGB chassis, we didnt switch to our own until the last year of the shootout.

I used a Phoenix, I believe Brad still has them in stock. I really only needed one to help me fit into seats better and right now I fit my seat perfect without it.

I did take a few nasty crahses in years past, and when the pavement wore through my suit it didnt go through the vest. I like it because it also has padding up and over your shoulders and that was one area that my suit wore through.

When I’m at work I only get help picking karts on and off of work stand so I had to figure out a way to get karts on and off stand by myself. I take the kart and pick the front end up and stand it straight on its rear bumper. Then take the stand and fold it on its back to match the kart. Put your foot on the stand right next to the rear wheel to keep it from rolling. With one hand hold the kart stand and hold it against the kart and the second to pull the kart and stand down level onto its wheels.

I can’t explain it as well as I can do it but if you ever see me at the track ask me how to do it and I can show you. Once its on the stand I can just pick it up and kinda drag it into the truck by myself. The kartlift stand are a little to expensive especially if you get used to doing it by yourself it gets easier everytime.

There are some technical articles on the Shockwave site that could be useful as well.
