Rick I can’t believe your letting Stacey beat you for number of posts. He has you by a good hundred posts too! What do you have a day job or something thats getting in the way of posting? Get on the stick man!

You know I was at one time the 3rd most prolific poster on the forum. Behind Jansen (who has seemed to drop off the face of the planet) and Vito. (who was in hibernation while unemployed) While making my charge, Angie accidently deleted my account? I had to start over and I’m coming back.
I just really love karting for kartings sake. The politics go with anything you do, shootings at kids soccer games, Dads fighting at softball touneys and so forth. We don’t have it that bad in karting. Sometimes the forum gets a little slow and I like to keep it jump started. Sometimes it gets a little negative and it needs to. People like your Dad and other shop owners have to choose their words so carefully or they just get hacked when they post.
It’s funny you ask about my day job. My girls have been giving me crap, asking me if work is getting in the way of the fund raiser! It kind of did. And I’m glad it’s over.

Actually, I’m just sitting back enjoying the show. Let’s see, I’ve watched the ship “Let’s change the CSC dates” sail by (and I understand the changes and it happens). It’s also been interesting to see all the newbies to the site and to racing, that’s always the best.
The best thing I”m refraining from responding to is the IRL/Champ merger. Tony George has the greatest spectacle in Motor Racing and the merger was inevitable from day one. Notice how I didn’t say anyone WON. While Indy has lost some of the luster in names and qualifying it’s still the best. This year might be a little rocky but Open Wheel racing beats the heck out of the tin top cans that (still) don’t show a yellow when there is “debris” on the track. Of course I’m still an F1 fan to the core but that’s another story.
And just for the record, I’m waiting to debut my new AVATAR. I know you’ll all like it. It’ll be better than my hairy legs and short shorts Avatar and a close call towards my lime green manthong y’all liked. And Orion’s got nothing onthe new one for taste! I can’t wait for the debut, neither will you!

No, I was at home for a week with the flu, gave it to Sandi and others and had to nurse her back to health too. Decided since I got it from someone else it wouldn’t be fair to go and get everyone else sick. This flu bug is nastier than ever. Sick in November and again in February.
