Sean also won the X Plex track championship and State of Nevada Rotax championship this year.
I guess his 700 laps testing for Vega tires last week at his home track got him pretty fast this weekend.
I echo Doug, this is a great family that just works hard at their passion.

Sean will be running his ICC at the Supernats in a couple of weeks. Not sure what class he will enter into, but the kid should fast in the shifty too.

PS: Dave seems to be beating his battle with his health, he sounds like a champion also.

Still havent heard from Rich. I know he’s nearing Las Vegas, however, when Rich sez there is a Scott, then there is a Scott.

Scott, don’t PM or IM me. I will wait to hear from Mr. Vito.

Little Billy, give us a break. There is more of a family feel in any pit, on any track and on any given Sunday within the karting community than any other form of motor sports in this state. You don’t need to reprimand anyone on this forum, or anyone who want’s to poke fun at Scott the friendly ghost.

Nice try Sam or Blink. I think we are getting closer to finding out who the REAL SCOTT NOTBRIGHT really is.
    Stand by for news.

    Anyone else have a suggestion?

We were on our way to IMI early yesterday morning and stopped at a 7-11 for some sugar. I swear I saw Scott talking with Elvis at the Krispy Kreme display about kart racing. Elvis told him he would like to come out to the track some time and meet all of his buddies.

Was that Scott in one of the two helicopters yesterday?

Go see Barry at Billet. If you want the best quality for the buck, he is the man. His shop has produced 7 championships this season! He is always available during the week, and breaks his back on race day for his customers.

WOW. Sounds like a bid for tuner and team of the year!

Call Barry Lewis at Billet. He has sold more Mycron equipment than anyone in CO and can help you with your cable needs.

You new karters with spinning heads should consider the restricted 80 shifter class for your 8-11 year olds, and formula 80 shifter for the 11-15 year olds.
We bought our package used from the Ray family 2 years ago and have sucessfully raced this machine to multiple track championships, national podiums, CSC podium every race this year and various non-race fun literally hundreds of times. It’s now for sale and can still win any race at any time in this state.
Our annual budget is under $2,500.00!!! This includes tires, top ends, fuel entry fees… We are not cheap, just another hard working family trying to spend time with the boys.
The thought of shifters costing way tooooo much to run is coming from a few ICC teams that insist on running rich motors on race day and pushing the RPM’s above the desiged max.
As the TAG class continues to grow, podiums will continue to shrink and protests will continue to grow.
Consider stepping over to the wild side and test drive a shifter. There are several cheap packages currently in the classified. Look at Dave Roberts post, then go see his equipment and compare what you can get for a buck. We may even consider his stuff if we go 80 again next year.
As far as test drives, we will be offering test drives for serious buyers after the Supernats in November sometime.
Need more shifter info, call me anytime.

One-day or two-day events are fine with us, however, when two-day events are run, with qualifing on Saturday, seal the motors like they do in STARS. Not a magic marker line, a real seal that gets logged. There were too many top ends going on that I saw in the pits in Steamboat after we qualified. I even think there was a total motor swap on Saturday evening in our class last weekend after qualifing.
The new teck director should find ways to eliminate this from happening. If someone needs a new ring, or some top end work after qualifing, they need to get permission, do the work, re-seal and start on the back row.

Think about it Chaz. You get to watch that special TV channel in your FREE hotel room 😆 :idea

We need to get Ian from IMI on the nominating board. He is involved at every race in one way or another. Great attitude and understands the sport. He has performed pre-race teck many times and can wave a mean flag :check :red :white :green :yellow :blue :black

When do we vote? :wave :wave :wave :wave

    Angie,
I don’t believe it will make any difference in our class outcome, but Chris Waterman finished in front of Garret A. in our main on Sunday. He raced his rear end off as usual and had Matty in his sights the last 5 laps.

No biggie as far as outcome, just wanted to give Waterman Racing their due respect.

Thanks for getting this out so quick, and all your hard work this season. You are my nomination for CSC Queen!

Some names I would like to throw out there are:
Chaz Clover for any position. He is very level headed, intelligent, kart savy and knows damn near all of us.
Bill Noud. Even though AJ still races, how much can one cheat in the pro shifter class? Bill has been around the block a few times and knows his stuff.
Alan or Diserie Wilson. Class people with as much passion in this sport one can find.
Rusty Newberry. Great flag man that really pays attention to his grid, safety, ramming, blocking, jamming… He get’s it, and has a spine.

I will think of more in time. But this should get some communication going.

PS: Is the CSC Board going to appoint a committee of one racer or tuner from each class? This has been mentioned in the past and I feel it would be of great benefit for communication reasons. Let these 7 or 8 folks sit in the meetings that pertain to rules, schedules, pre-race information…
they can then get with their perspective class and let them know what’s going on, or at least be a voice in the crowd that may be heard.

    Just wondering.
    Thanks
