ParticipantGreg will have some soon at Unser, and if you need it now, they have it at IMI. I think it’s $14/bottle?

Support your local race shop brother!
Unser sells them for $110 and will dismount the old, mount the new, recycle the tires, tell you a joke, walk your dog and paint the front porch.
Well, maybe not all that, but the dismounting/mounting and recycling is true. You’d have to ask Greg about the other items.
How’s the voting going? Unsure how productive this thread is, but it is nice to have new content to read everyday on the site!

ParticipantI’ll probably be “that guy” who bounces back and forth between light, medium and heavy depending on the track / kart counts / what i had for breakfast, etc.. most likely won’t run for points in any one class or series, but plan on making all the CKT races.

Participant4 brake/lift points. Once the track rubbers up, it would go to 3.5 😀

ParticipantI’ll most likely be at SBR tomorrow for a few hours. Eddy said he may be able to come as well. Anybody else!? :anyone

ParticipantThat’s why the CKT is smart to have just #300 and #380. That should separate the races as to not have any qualifying/racing between different weight classes. The heavy class should be very well represented if you think about the combination of what was the medium and heavy centennial classes.

ParticipantFirstly, thank you to all for the overwhelming support! I’m very humbled by all the kind text messages, posts, etc from everyone who was following myself and all the Colorado karters at home! I couldn’t be more proud to represent our region.
For anyone who was thinking of coming out to race or spectate all I can say is that the week, the competition, the venue, etc is absolutely second to none. Although it’s a been a very long time since I’ve been at a national level kart race, I’ve done some other large scale car races and been to some big venues…. The max speed group put on an amazing event, and it truly creates for life long memories that I’d recommend for anyone in the karting arena to attend if you have the means.
Tony, great meeting you and thanks for all the no-co shout outs on the coverage! Let me know when you’re in town and we’ll definitely get together!
Thank you again for all the support! Can’t wait to see everyone at the track next year!

ParticipantI Second Leo. Come on out on sat. You’ll learn a lot just by hanging around.

ParticipantRichard, you may want to give Greg welch at Unser (he’s the Greg that’s been posting) a personal call as he straightens chassis. I’m not sure what the charge is, but he’d be the local guy that could get you pointed in the right direction if you’re looking to start with a solid base.
