Participanti might be interested if anyone else is running rotax??

Participantrichard,
there will be minimal lateral movement in the drum.
like greg said, shim it to make sure the clutch doesn’t move though, as you’ll tear up the keyway if it does. I’m not sure if hilliard changed their installation instructions yet, but for the lo206, the clutch needs to overhang the crankshaft a little, or at a minimum be flush with the end when you tighten it down.. you don’t want any lateral play in the actual clutch. their installation instructions say to allow for movement, which is not correct for the lo206.
2 white and 2 black springs will most likely be the way to go.
you’re set up “inboard” with your clutch, which is desirable.. like greg said, it’s rare to find a kart that you can run it that way, but if it fits, you’re better off with that setting.. just make sure your clutch shoes are pointing the correct direction.
also, when you set up your oil catch can/cans, make sure it gets plenty of air if you combine both hoses… it’s best to run two separate cans/bottles if you can..
if you haven’t found it yet, bob’s 4cycle forum is awesome.. read everything you can by jim from faster motors.. his name is “jimbo” on the site..

Participanti can’t find an entry list or a results page with states included.. i guess ekn doesn’t do it for the us open races like they do skusa….
adam_kasick
ParticipantI pulled those numbers from the entry list posted on ekn. I’ll check to see if they did the same for your race and if so, I’ll post them!

Also, does anyone have a list or know of the local drivers who are headed to new castle this week? I’d imagine the Fedler’s are going… Falcone….Who else?

ParticipantI’ve had a couple people email me that they can’t get online to post. I’d had an issue as well when I first signed up, so if that’s the case for anyone, please email me and I’ll try and point you in the right direction.

ParticipantAs far as I know, there isn’t a national series for lo206 yet. Some places like new castle have a sr class and a cik class with different rules for wheels. You’ll want to check with the series you plan to race in.
