richard… i’m certain there will be someone there who can help you get your kart(s) up to speed as far as tech goes. I wouldn’t let that keep you from going. you may not get a lot of feedback from the site, but again, i can guarantee someone will be able to help out.
I have a couple of sets sitting at Unser that you can have. Greg will know where they are, just stop by and grab them.
I agree… one of the greatest aspects of the pill draw is that the fastest kart rarely won. adding a 3rd race is also really nice, as for most, it’s more enjoyable than a qual session.
another positive is that you’d see drivers winning heat races that may not have the speed to win a race in the qual format. it’s a great “reward” for parents, and also helped to build confidence in newer drivers as well as teach them how to lead…

looks like there are actually 3 LO senior classes, like they had last year.. light runs thursdy @ #340, senior on friday @ #360 and heavy on saturday @ #390… this way you can run three classes just by adding weight. i may be interested in going.
