Wow, no replies? Well, maybe a few videos of karts racing on the track that these 4 Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals will be held. Great looking track seems to be perfect for a national event.

Turns out some people like to view only and not reply. 🙂 That is totally cool! Sounds like there are at least 3 206 drivers that are going to Denton this year if I understood correctly.

I would love to car pool up there with you all but I am picking up my dad in Wichita, KS. Though, if we could pit close together and maybe get a “group” discount on hotel rooms that would be great. That might save us some $$ 🙂

Looks like the North Texas Karters website has the registration sheet up for the Nationals race. Looks like they are splitting up the 206 classes into different days. Does this mean we could run multiples? hmm I am going to have to give them a call or something to figure out if that is the case. Cause that would be cool being able to run each of those days!

EDIT: I also just noticed these times start at 6:00pm. This means these are night races! AWESOME! Ok, this is looking better and better. Can’t wait! Anyone else want to join me?

My dad is building a cooling device that will fit in my trailer or outside. I will have it after the July races. I also have a big tent (haven’t tested it out yet will do that maybe this weekend) that will fit a lot of people (10ft x 20ft. but with 4′ more width with the extra poles on both sides making it an 18 x 20.). I bought it to cover my trailer and still have room to work on my kart on the side of my trailer. But we could move the trailer out of the way for a LOT more room. I will have it setup maybe for the next CKT race. Depending on if I can set it up via one person or not. lol

looks like there are actually 3 LO senior classes, like they had last year.. light runs thursdy @ #340, senior on friday @ #360 and heavy on saturday @ #390… this way you can run three classes just by adding weight. i may be interested in going.

Yeah, I saw that! This is how you do different weight classes! 😉 Allows someone to run in all of them if they want to. I am FOR SURE doing that if this is allowed. If you are interested let’s talk some more for sure! I have my trailer but I know you have one too. Mine is a little smaller IIRC. Let me know if you are for sure wanting to go. Keep in mind that I am going to Wichita to pick up my Dad. This means we may not be able to car pool. Though, I know of some others that are going. Maybe we could all get together to chat up the details.

Hey All, I am looking to get my registration in and call John in regards to pit spaces here in the next couple weeks. I would like to see if we could all pit around the same area for those of you that will be going to Nationals. If you would like to join forces to see about getting a package deal or something for pit spaces let me know. I would like to call John before this month is over. Please come by my pits at SBR this weekend if you would like to talk details. You can also give me a text/call or private message on these forums. My number is 720-333-1334.

http://www.ikfkarting.com/OfficePages/PDFs/Forms/2016-GN-4CycleSprintEntryForm.pdf Here is the updated Registration sheet with all the information. I have already booked hotel at the LaQuinta Inn $99 a night for the race weekend and if you call soon the rate for Monday/Tuesday are the same. Just let them know you are with NTK IKF and the dates and they should find it. Call 940-808-0444 to set that up.

Really looking forward to my first national race. I have been to other national type competitions (racing (rc car) and music (Euphonium)) but this will be my first real kart race big event. Would really like to see a lot of familiar faces and to help each other out. Make this enjoyable for all.

Coming up soon! Looks like counts aren’t huge down there. If you’ve ever wanted to run a national level race, this is a fun opportunity to come down and hang with some fellow racers in a fun, new environment. 3 days of racing for the jr’s and sr’s.
