ParticipantBravo Jim,
I love the night race. Nothing more American than race cars (karts) under the lights!
Thank you for the prospect of the L206 class too. Entry level, lower cost, kart racing is what we have been missing in Colorado for a while. Good racing is good racing, no matter how fast your equipment is.

ParticipantThanks Angel,
I can’t wait to see the old Osterreichring in Austria. So pretty there.
You should do a double header next year. Mexico and Austin.
Did you see that Kimi is going to team up with Fernando Alanzo at Ferrari? Should be fun… I hope.

ParticipantHey Richard. Yes, that was me. Greg bought the kart we told you about. He is just playing around with it right now. I suppose I will take it out a time or two, to see what it can do. If we have any questions I will PM you.
Angel… Cancun??? Must be nice!!! Good for you. If I have any questions I will PM you too. Miss seeing you at the races.

ParticipantThat’s crazy!
What interesting news. All this PLUS the new turbo engines next year.
I can just hear Kimi tell the Ferrari guys on his radio. “I know, I know, I know. Just leave me alone”.
Buy the way, Angel. I have a friend who just bought a Rotax powered kart. He might need some pointers on carb tuning.

Participant“Super teams” rarely work in F1. There has to be a number one driver. Remember Prost and Senna? Who would be the “Number One?” Fernando or Sebastian? I think we know the answer to that one.
Back in the stone age, when I was a kid. The Lotus teams of Hill and Clark worked well. And Andretti and Petersen in the late seventies. But that’s pretty rare.
Now a team with Sebastian and Kimi??? That would be fun to watch!

Great people. Good service.

ParticipantGreg at Unser Racing should have some stuff to try. If your going to the seminar, then you can kill two birds with one stone.
There is some selection at IMI too. But more limited.

ParticipantBut Angel, the real question is could Schumacher keep up with you?
Good to see you last Sunday at The Track.

ParticipantEcclestone is such a tool. I would much rather go to Texas than NJ. But at least NJ is an option.
I hope something can be worked out. I was looking forward to going down there.Terry Von Tilius
ParticipantMy wife and I were at the race too. I have been around race cars my entire life. I have never seen anything like it. Horror movie stuff.
What started out as a fun filled day at the races went horribly wrong. When I saw that grey puff of tire smoke come up from the middle of the pack, I knew it was going to be bad. Just not that bad.
My wife has lost all appetite for racing. I will keep going, of course, it’s in my blood.
Dan Wheldon was one of true ambassadors of the sport.
As a big fan of his, I will miss his enthusiasm and good humor.Rest in peace champ.

ParticipantRick, I agree with you on the karting issues. Wouldn’t it be cool to have some 20+ kart fields for the TaG events again? Everybody could race with somebody. Whether your a front runner or an also ran, you could race with someone. Instead of just logging laps.
My family’s hearts go out to the victims of the plane race crash as well.

ParticipantI plan on going on Saturday. Jansen, just keep your hands to yourself.
If anyone else is going let me know, here.Terry Von Tilius
ParticipantGood news… The motion passed. The construction can continue and the race is still on for 2012.

ParticipantHere’s an idea. Goes back to the old days… Heat one is lined up according to qualifying. Heat tow. INVERTED! First starts at the back. Only the karts running at the end of the first heat invert. The one not running go to the back behind the heat one winner.
results of heat two, is the line up for the Main.Just a thought.

ParticipantRoger,
My vote for a night race, in the future, is YES!. A very American thing to do. Saturday night at the races. I grew up around the RMMRA, (Midgets) they always raced at night.
