Greg at Unser Racing should have some stuff to try. If your going to the seminar, then you can kill two birds with one stone.
There is some selection at IMI too. But more limited.
I talked with Greg at the CJKC first day of registration and he didnt have anything in stock. Maybe he will chime in when he will actually have things like this in stock.

Action Karting at Bandimere usually has a pretty good supply of safety gear for sale, not sure what their child-size selection is like though, but I’m pretty sure they’ll have something.
I’ll have gloves and neck braces in stock in youth sizes this weekend. MIR gloves and the EVS R4 neckbrace. If you have never seen this neckbrace it is pretty sweet. Very similar in protection to the Leatt but actually allows for a full range of motion so the driver can see, and it sells for only $99.
