ParticipantRick Crazy event! 15 second lap times with 29 drivers in the karter division. It is totally the rollerball of karting.
It was really neat having David Fore’ 5 time world champion, Jonathan Thonon 3 time and current world champion, Jan Heylen, Cole Whitt, and of course Alan Rudolph all under our tent. These guys are all first class and true professionals.Spent alot of time with David as he worked the booth with us and hung out for 3 days. He is a true champion and one of the nicest most humble guys I have ever met. He really wants to come to Colorado in 2012 and spend some time between races helping us with our race program and driver development. Anyone that is interested in driving classes or even a personal driving coach for select events let us know as David would be happy to do it.

ParticipantRick,
Really want to thank both you and Roman for all your help. You both are a class act and a huge help under the tent.

ParticipantRon,
Thank you!! we are very lucky to have you and your great family. Ryan drove an incredible race, stayed calm all week and just got faster and faster and was right there in the end. It was great to see everyone work as a team under the tent helping each other. It is going to be a great 2012.

ParticipantI am very proud of her she just needs a better mechanic. Colorado had an impressive showing and has a really fast group of drivers in all classes. We just all need to get them racing together during the year to make them even faster.

ParticipantAlso want to congratulate Ryan Rudolph for his impressive 2nd place finish in S5. Great drives from all the Colorado karters.

ParticipantEric,
Sabre’ started the final in 4th but got pushed out on the start and dropped to 12th. She charged back to 6th and with a half lap to go the chain jumped off the sprocket. It was a heartbreaker but she drove incredible all week.

ParticipantWeather is high 70’s all weekend, going to be great racing weather! The Clairon Hotel is race headquearters with rooms for $79. Come on over and get one last race weekend in before Super Nats or before the cold weather hits. Looks like most of the top Shifter pilots are coming which will give them all a great test weekend for Vegas.

ParticipantRoger,
We would love to make it down however we are headed to the Streets of Lancaster race this weekend. We will be discussing the future of karting at the final SKUSA event the following weekend at GJMS October 15-16th. Let’s take the comments from both and get together in Denver with all karters sometime in the near future. Good luck with your event this weekend.
