ParticipantRick,
She begged me to let her jump into Kodys stock moto and run. She had never driven a shifter so as you can see by the pics she had a little trouble with the start. It was funny as heck to watch her try to figure it out, she was even doing the Rotax hop out of the corners when she would bog it which of course didnt work. She did run a 55:6 by her 5th lap which was pretty good going backwards. I am probably going to get charged for child abuse. What other parent do you know that would throw their daughter in a shifter for the 1st time right into a heat race. No practice or qualifying nothing. Not very bright but she sure had a ball. The axle shifted in the main so she didnt finish but she sure was smiling.

It will be great to see Carlton, Speed, Leezman, Schemerhorn 😀 and many others battling it out on our local track. Start planning now, there is going to be alot more exciting news coming soon for next year so stay tuned. 😀

ParticipantThere is no one out there more passionate and true to karting than Tony. He and his mother are wonderful people and represent what karting is truly all about. Yes some aspire to be the next Tony Stewart or Luis Hamilton but nothing better than a family spending time together doing what they love.

ParticipantChris,
Thanks, we really appreciate you and your group coming over to support racing in Colorado. We sure understand everyones reasons for sitting this weekend out but hope we all can come together and get karting in Colorado back on track for 2009.
