We at GJMS would like to thank all the racers that made the trip out to GJMS for the CKRRS series this weekend. We know the turnout was low but the racing was fantastic. Congratulations to all the winners and a very special thank you to the CJKC and Tammy and Jay Jacobellas for bringing their group over. Also Rick (tech), Angie (scoring)Curt (race director) and Charles (head flagger) awesome job! thank you for helping us have a great event.

The Club race scheduled for this weekend at GJMS has been rescheduled for August 26th. We moved it to this weekend to so everyone could get ready for the CSC event however several Club members had conflicts and we had to move it back to the 26th.

Curtis and Brooke are awesome people. Curtis is the one that first put me in a kart, I will never forgive him for that :loony: then made me come back to Colorado buy ground and build Grand Junction Motor Speedway.

It was changed back at the end of March I believe. Hope you can make it, we have some really good things happening for that event. We will announce them shortly. One reason we changed the date was to get the kid karters to come in Comer 50 and 80 ( about 30 kids) alot of them will be headed from GJMS on to the national the following week.

Sabre’ and Conner raced with Shawn in Florida, seems like a really nice kid and a great driver.

Man am I tired!!!! Jeff great job this weekend, would love to see the video. Thanks to all that came and supported karting in Colorado. alot of great people that just want to race.. Thanks to RTR staff for the great weekend.
