Unfortunately none of our drivers are going to make it, we have a Club race this weekend and the majority did not want to re-schedule. We wish everyone the best of luck.

Thats what we all need to do, leave the drama and politics at home and just go enjoy why we all do this “To have fun”
We also have a Club race next weekend for anyone wanting to race in Grand Junction.The whole SKUSA program is full of great people and friends, we started the chain of events that caused SKUSA’s grief with our scheduling glitch and for that we sincerely appologize, these people have put their heart and soul (and money) into trying to give all Colorado racers a quality race series and we all should appreciate their effort.
Hopefully this winter will give us all a time to heal and look at what we can do to get Colorado back together as a family with people that just want to race and enjoy the friendships we have developed over the years.

On behalf of Grand Junction Motor Speedway we would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the Duncan family and the entire Karting community. Words cannot describe the horrible pain and heartache we all feel about what has happened. Please know you are in our prayers and thoughts.
heck Dave in the old motocross days we were back racing with a brace in 2 weeks so you should be good as new by next weekend. :loony:

Watched it Monday night and I have got to say it was great for karting and the Colorado karting community, great job Jim!
Well we finally made it home after a long week in New Castle. What a week is was! We should have been there the weekend prior to be fully prepared. Sabre’ drove her heart out to come back to 13th in the final. Not to bad after having to start 37th in the prefinal after being taken out in 2 of the 3 heat races. The winner actually was only 1 tenth faster than us in the final timed practice Wednseday but then our motor problems started so we are happy with the overall result. Next year we will be there the weekend before with more than 1 motor.
Ben and Greg also got banged around and can fill you in on their adventures.
We were 12th fastest overall at the end of practice yesterday but today has been a different story. The kart just dies coming off 2 specific turns and will only rev to 11,600. PSL is out of motors and this is our only one so not sure what we are going to do. have slowed from 105.4 to the 1:07’s and going backwards fast. Very disapointing!! PSL is going to try and pull the motor apart tonight so we will see what happens.
