Once a year Neutral Temp Track, No Points, No Championships,
No $500 cost.NO WORRIES. (NO COMMENT ON THIS ONE)No $500 cost.NO WORRIES. It cost me $100 just drive the rig down there not including everything else so as far as $500 that’s a little on the light side for what it cost for me to show up at any race, Gunter. So, I guess for over $1000 its fun to race against 4-5 guys? From a cost point, I would certainly think it would be much more cost effective to run for fun, at a track with 4-5 guys on a test & tune day. I ran this temp track already or something very close to this layout there this spring with AJ and Curt. its going to be very fast and not very difficult the way its laid out presently ( maybe should add a Chicane in the infield, just my opinion). But, as my little buddy mentioned it will be fun for sure. :redman By the way, I would be very surprised if the gearing is the same as IMI or GJM. That’s not what we ran when I tested it, so bring some gears. Closer to IMI gearing for rotax masters.
Tires for two days $400
Rig fuel $100
Pickup fuel $30
Food for two $100
Misc kart parts if your lucky $100
Karts fuel/oil $100
Hotel Room $100
Tuner, Priceless $$$$$$$
Entry fee’s $180
Wade up kart having fun $4000
Wear and tear on on kart having fun $200
Wear and tear on engine having fun $200
Wear and tear and miles on Rig $300Adds up fast, Gunter!
BTW. Rodney I certainly expect you to be there, at least you know you wont be the only Tag Master. So you cant buy this podium 😉 You get him there, I will for sure show up! :loco
Did I mention its the NFL’s kickoff weekend? Kind of like you missing the world cup soccer games and not racing us at the TTAC for fun, buddyyyyyyy.
Gunter, have a great night buddy. 😀

ParticipantHey Bob,
I’m glad to hear Ronnie will be running this weekend. I Look forward to seeing you both. I’m not sure exactly what’s going on with all this motor stuff, but regardless of the outcome, I would be happy to borrow you a Leopard or a Rotax for the weekend.I have 2008 Leopard with 100 laps on it race ready as well as a 2009 FR-125 Rotax with about 300 laps race ready. Both of these engines are fast!
Please keep it mind if for some crazy reason you can’t use the Beland (sp?).
See you this weekend, I look forward to it. It should be a lot of fun with some great drivers.

ParticipantHey Russ,
Thank you very much for your generous offer. I would really like to take you up on it. Who wouldn’t? I was actually going to run up there this weekend for more practice towards the Grand Nationals coming up in three weeks. In many ways it’s a very similar track to IMI. Unfortunately, due to the short notice and my wife informed me on Thursday night that she has made plans with me and my father for tomorrow. However, she has given me the green light on half the day to play but, I need to be in Castle rock by 1pm. I just don’t think you would get your monies worth. So with that said it would probably be best to pass on this race and save it for the next one. 😐
I would be happy to run with you and any other master drivers in Colorado. It’s a great class/talent of people and I always have a lot of fun running with all of them. Speaking for me, I would love to have you join the class and add some character and additional talent to the bunch. I invite you with open arms my friend.
Russ, there are several other competitive master drivers here in Colorado that would and could defiantly help you compare your skills. I would think some of them would love the offer as well. I would be more than happy to contact them for you if needed for this weekend. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you at the next race either on the big track or the indoor track where you always kick my butt. 😐
I hope you got your son into racing soon he has some talent in the rentals so hopefully he could transfer that to the big karts. By the way, I think your good Dad I can’t count how many times us three competed at the indoor track this off season and the passion I witnessed with you and your son towards karting.Russ, have a great weekend and Happy Fathers Day 🙂

ParticipantMike and Mike, thank you. It’s my pleasure racing with the both of you, along with all the other Master competitors some fun clean racing!
It was another great weekend at the TTAC. Once again Jim and crew put on a clinic. (Bravo) There was some great racing all day long in all classes. Chris and I look forward to the new season in Colorado.
Chris, thank you for doing such a great job this weekend, working with me on the kart. It’s truly a pleasure having you on my side and in our pits… You ROCK!!!!!
Barry, thank you for all your support as well. (Let’s go faster next time ) LOL!!!
It was good seeing the Cooks make it over the hill and put on good show as well. We are excited to come over the hill for the next RTR race.
There were lots new faces, lots of old faces and lots of missing faces. So hopefully we can see some of those missing faces at the next race. Please come support Colorado karting.

ParticipantI wanted to take the time and thank everybody for all of your support this weekend at IMI and all of your kind words and prayers. Thank you for putting Nickolas sticker on your Karts that really was greatest thing that I could have asked for all weekend.
. Unfortunately I lost third place at the end of the main when I got loose in turn 5 but none the less, I had a great time this weekend, met several great people and I truly look forward to next year. I wish it started next weekend.
This coming Sunday we will be doing the Nickolas Mack Memorial Rally. It would be great to see some familiar faces from my new karting family but if not I wish everyone a safe and joyful holiday season. Thanks again for everything.Yours Truly Scott Falcone #99

ParticipantHey Josh,
I?m a newby as well and have been bit by the bug too. This is sport is an amazing addictive rush in every aspect, as you have already learned. ?YES? spending money is not hard to do in this sport that?s for sure! I?m already looking for toterhome and new stacker trailer for next year so, I can defiantly relate to the financial bug sucking you in.
The people are amazing on all of the teams everyone is so nice and helpful. I entered into this thinking it would be fun to go make some laps with some buddies but before I new it the bug got me and now I can?t wait to race every chance I get. I have made amazing leaps and bounds and lost 36 lbs and lowered my times consistently by 4 seconds in half a season so have fun and go fast and ask lots of questions the more the better.
As one of the racing veterans would say, this sport is a great rush without using drugs or alcohol. That?s no lie!It appears you?re already a speed junky from looking at your pictures (NICE). Good luck have fun be safe I?ll be at the CSC race at IMI. I run a GP 4 cycle Vampire #99 come say hi if your there I would like too meet you. We rookies need to sick together.
