I agree with Greg, I’ve had a lot of experience with this motor and they’re pretty reliable. Got gas, spark, compression, and the timing is right it’s got to run.
I’d really look at the fuel pump or carb. Make sure your fuel and vacuum lines to the pump are not sucking air. If you had another pump to try it would be the easiest to change then look at the carb, doesn’t take much dirt to plug them up.

Hey Tony, your diving now. Don’t know if you knew this or not but I taught Scuba Diving for about 6 years for High Plains in Fort Collins. Cool sport, and maybe a little cheeper than racing.

Great find Angle, however the cost seems to apply to any type of racing. :loony:

Thanks Stacey, but if I can’t find a used one I’ll need to do that, just trying to save some money.

Your very welcome, not sure about the 100CC class however the Tag Master class, which is the largest, could field from 15 to 28 entries. I will be at IMI from time to time during the off season, let me know when your coming down and I’ll see if I can come down.

I agree with all the other posts, but you may have multiple issues. Something you may want to also check as you told me the other night you may have a brake dragging as one problem. The other may be that your chain sprocket hub may be bent also, which would cause the chain sprocket to wobble. As in the previous post the dial indicator and base will confirm all of the above. Give me a call and we can talk.

I’m very bad (anal in fact) about cleaning mine after every race. I remove the rear axel then spray it all down with “Grease Lighten” and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes then hose it down. I then soak the chain in a degreaser and following that let it soak in oil overnight. I clean all the bearings with a degreaser and re-lube. It’s a little much I have to admit, but it give me the opportunity to look the kart over and find problems before they happen at the track.

Thanks for the note, maybe I’ll get it out of the shed.
