I am not trashing you. In fact I am giving you insight from my better half. She is so tired of the bull ???? from adults. She loves wathching our son racing. And all she wants to do is watch him race and not deal with the BS. We are tired of the fact you are fast so you are cheating.Drew if you felt I was trashing please accept my public apology????

why dont you drop the mic and put up or shut up!!! Race something instead of standing on the sidelines announcing!! If you are so adamant about the senior 4cycyle not being competitive, I will sponsor you next year buying you a chassis and a motor and you can kick all of these peoples asses that you seem to not like. COME ON ARE YOU FOR REAL OR ARE YOU JUST TALKING s@@t.

it sounds like you are against the senior 4 cycle. If I were to join a class this would be the one. Every time that I see these guys they have a smile on their face and they epitomise what karting should be about. HAVING FUN!!!!! DO YOU NOT GET THAT KARTING IS AN ENTRY LEVEL SPORT ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN??????? You talk about corporate sponsors and so on and whatever dont you realize that we are using port a potty’s for bathrooms???? This is supposed to be for fun. If you want to announce F-1 or nascar GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!. Im out!

ParticipantCODE OF CONDUCT ?????
Sott this is go kart racing most of the people are out here for fun. Sure we all want to win but come on who is going to show up with a collar shirt and khaki pants to get a trophy? Besides if you want to talk about a code of conduct why dont you look at yourself. And I quote “Cody 2
Dennis 0″ Why would we listen to a guy that trashes a 6 yr. old kid and the tech director. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!Jay Luttrull

ParticipantCome to IMI for the most fun and best competition. I know that it is a longer drive for all down south, but I guarantee it is worth the drive time. IMI offers the best club racing to our junior racers. They are the only ones to offer two classes for the kids(A open exhaust and open gear or the B class that conforms to the CSC rules.) Pick the class that your young racer is best suited for and go. Trophies are awarded to all participants and you can go home knowing that your child has competeded against some of the best little pilots to ever race at IMI.

ParticipantDarren,
Yeah it is so much fun to see these kids compete on the race track and after the race is over to see them hanging out riding bikes and scooters together is amazing. They don’t see one as better than the other they just simply race and go have fun TOGETHER. I think that the education I am getting from these kids this year is enough to last a lifetime.
Look forward to seeing you all at the next club race
Thanks

ParticipantIf you spent as much time practicing with your son as you do taking shots at a 6 year old kid you might be competitive. Sounds like you are spending to much time with your neighbors golden retriever!!! If you really have to have the 1st. place trophy come to next weekends IMI race and run the spec gear and stock muffler class(which you voted for) and your kid just might win. As far as I know there has been only one kid the last two races that raced in that class.

ParticipantJust wanted to say that the reason Cody wins all of the time is that he is a very good driver. We were out practicing at IMI and Cody was just flying by Tyler beating him by 5sec. a lap on the short track. I talked to Mike and we had Cody drive Tylers car. He was running just as fast in Tylers car as he was in his. Point being motor makes a difference but driver makes an even bigger difference! Mike is also willing to offer any help answer any questions from anyone out there. Please let this be a fun learning experience for the kids.

ParticipantThank You for your post I to agree that the kids safety should be the most important, and I have to apologize to Jay J. for being to harsh on the last post. I got into this sport thinking that it would be cool for my son and daughter to be able to drive at ages 5 and 7. I did not think that it would get so involved as it has become. My daughter has decided that she would not race and my son has decided that he wants to. When we first started it was all about me pushing my son to go as fast as he could, pretty soon he did not want to go to the track any more!!! I was loosing track of the whole reason I got my son into karting. I started talking to my son about having fun and changing my perspective and now since meeting other boys and him playing with them during practice sessions he has wanted to go driving more. I dont think that we should put so much pressure on our son’s or daughters that they feel like this is a job. The main reason for this kid kart class is for our children to have fun and I think that the parents (including myself) are loosing site of that fact. I hope that our children can race and have fun and the parents do the same.

ParticipantJay I resent the fact that you call the Imi regulars “just regulars” I don’t think that you have enough vision that “the regulars” might become csc members if they are treated like they are at IMI. At IMI I feel like the racers input is at least taken into considreration and we are not told this is how it is like it or leave it. I do not think that SKUSA is driving the gear rule I think that it is other people involved in this whole deal are driving that. If you would like to give me a call I would be happy to share my thoughts on that.
