It has been the help of family and friends that has enabled me and my family to try and live a normal life. One that will never be achieved but with the help of my karting friends gives us some form of normalcy.

:idn: The day is longer enough without someone taking your equiptment. I have some rotax tools and will be glad to share if you need some help.
Lets find them and use them to make an impression of them on the thieves

:idn: What are the weghts for Steamboat is rotax still at 395 and junior at 320. I need to know so I can get the kart scaled if there is a change. If changes are being made then the process seems screwed by late season chages. I disagree with Rich on the tires of course he is faster than I am so his tire wear is more. Slow down and save your tires. I wouldn’t buy tires early this year till we make a decision but early rules would be great especially if changes are being made. It makes my wife’s Christmas shopping harder not knowing the rules.

:idn: I thought that maybe it was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. My nephew loses his brakes and hits someone who according to the P A person was standing in the wrong place. I am waiting to take the grid and a person trips over my kart and takes my carb and air box off. Kart doesn’t start and pack takes the grid leaving me in the wrong place.

I complained to the race director about the crowded pre staging area. I then watched the rest of the days races from the stands and watched people in the past thru lane. This is mostly in the shifter classes and the kid class.

Some tracks seperate the entrance and exit areas. Rusty, Brad, Bobbie, lets clean-up these problems in advance of more severe consequences.

:sun: I am helping with some roadside check points this weekend so racing is on the back burner. A note to my karting buddies the heat is on!!!! I am going out now and buy a lotto ticket and do like nascar and buy all the tracks . Then Rod and I will make the rules , non reliable animals motors no exceptons and father or mother and offspring for a combined time race so there.

Rusty didn’t see this thread please read my thoughts on briggs class. All most us want is what is on my side of the line, like my sign says ho ray for my side. MY vote is bring on the briggs a loud american engine reved to the max. They put rubber down on the tarck an pay dues and by parts just like the rest of us racers. :idn:

I understand your pain. I do question your problems. YES to a special carb, rod , crank, etc. a large sum of money to modify an engine but no way to spec tires or a membership dues. If Iam reading this right it looks like the cart -Irl split over a couple of rules. Rusty step to the plate let a class the almost has no benefits from SKUSA run tires for two races.that are quote not spec the same converstaion will be held next year about a different tire the bought its way into our racer wallets. Yes some one did ask this question of you. It was me at the meeting reds vs yellows no answer. If we think that loosing a few racers is of no concern than I question the wisdsom of the track owners and association members. Greg I have new Reds and Stones in the wrapers if you can use them. LETS LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE A FEW NON SPEC TIRES WOULDN’T MAKE OR BREAK AND SITUATION!!!!

:idn: Rusty Two questions both asked can we run reds or can we use other tires at first race to use up new tires since we didn’t have knowledge of the rules. Sometimes closed meetings lead to these kind of issuses . Welcome to Colorado question line.

:idn: If this is really yours and CSC’s out look that a meeting is just a fun thing and that the rules are already set. I question what is going on. I saw others in the past tell me unless you have been in the club for a least a year your vote doesn’t even count. Where is that race series now? Where is IKF now? It has happened before where the boards got so into themselves that joe racer said goodbye always be careful what you wish for you may just get it.
