    Brad,
They have been running in there all year. More at GJMS, but also Sabre has come over to Action Karting and IMI and she has run. Only not getting points for the series. I know it has been a sore spot, but I don’t think it would be fair to say they can’t race now! I don’t think the rest of the Junior 1 parents would go for giving up a trophy for a top 3 spots either, but there would be room on the track and a participant award for her. Of course, I am not a Junior 1 parent, so I am sure if anyone has a problem with that they will let us know, but I can’t see why. The championship in that class has already gone to Ben Whetstone.

And the way things are shaping up, there should be an actual class for those things next year. How do you like it? Has it been good to you? Hope to see you there.

    Brad,

What do you mean you aren’t planning on going to the SSGP?! You and your family have to come over for it. Ok, you don’t have to, but we will miss you if you aren’t there.

Rich, I thought the HAVE NOT RACED BEFORE to mean that they wanted a new field this time. (or maybe he was referring to those that said they weren’t racers, but in reality had some experience behind the wheel of a kart) Besides, the Steamboat audience will be a little bigger, I would get too nervous!

I am working on the results, thanks for being patient.

To answer your question, though…… In the TaG Senior class, Jeff Welch had a qualifying time of a 53.788!! Greg Welch had a 54.061 and Marc Elliott a 54.464.

Doug, I think your math is correct –
    Congratulations to those Season Champions!!

That leaves 7 classes that have yet to be determined, though, so it should make for an interesting weekend in the mountains!!

Please look at your points carefully.
If you see any discrepancy, I need to know now.
Remember there will be one dropped score (not a DQ) to calculate the season end totals.
You must race in at least 4 events to be eligible for year end awards.

ha ha Mike. Thank you for NOT calling collect, but you know I would have accepted :sun:

We finally got our phone back. The strike apparently hit the transformer for the shop or very near it – blew the lightning arrestor (think that is what it is called) off the pole, also messed up the house transformer – but we only lost power for an instant. The phone technician traced that problem from our house (origination) up the line a couple of miles – with junctions blown up all along the way. The door for the box on the side of the house was blown open and everything was charred inside, same at the pedestal, and on up the line. Lightning is strange. My modem is ok, even though I was online at the time, so is the computer. One circuit in the house was tripped – to the laundry room. Ruined one GFI outlet. Darn no laundry tonight!

Anyway, it was an interesting day, but we are somewhat back to normal around here (never really “normal” around here :loony:

Blink won’t be home until tonight – from Germany. I will check with Bobby today, but not sure I will be able to post the response. Our phone went out last night with a lightning stike, and I can only hope that it is back on soon! So, if someone would call IMI and then post the answer, it would be appreciated!
