Guys, It has been a very very long Month!! First going to Moran, then holding the Supercross followed by the CSC race and Finally the Pro Moto!!! :idn: We have been overwelmed and everyone that has helped is completely exhausted so it was really disappointing when we had such a low driver and spectator turnout. Running all this in the same month was crazy, we decided on the CSC the week before because we thought it would help draw some of the National drivers to get track time. We will do something different next year, Hopefully SKUSA will survive and want to come back next year.. Our #1 goal in July is to stick to our schedule and get everyone out of their by 5:30pm We have already started working on the problems we had and making sure they don’t happen again!! We did get our PA system in and it seems to work pretty good according to Elliots and Domans :idn: (they were parked right under the speaker system and it drove them crazy) We will get it fine tuned by July and it should be great!! There was some awesome racing with many Colorado drivers tearing the national guys up, Congrats to all. Colorado has alot of young fast kids that looks to me like they could be the dominating force in the next few years. Thanks to all that have supported us and are willing to overlook our growing pains…
Curt, boy did we need it this last weekend. We ran into trouble getting all the wire run by last weekend and it killed us!!! we should have the PA finished by Thurs Night, if not I might beg for your help 😀
Jeff, tell them hello, they are great people!! Ask them if we can give them back the ground before the county runs us out of business lol Sorry I was so busy SUnday it was a very crazy, stressful day but we all made it thru it. Already trying to fix the glitches we had so that we are ready in July.
Dennis, Tag Senior was Josh Swann 1st 56.145 2nd Donal Lougher 56.603 3rd Marc Elliot 56.625 it was an awesome race Josh and Donal battled hard with Josh making the pass on the last lap 3 turns from the finish.
$400 for 1st $250 2nd and $100 for 3rd.To everyone that made the trip over THANKYOU!!!! we are really sorry that we got you out so late, we are already working on the problems we had that put us behind schedule. Again Thanks to all that made it a success 141 karts !!!!! maybe we can break 150 at IMI the next CSC race… Racing was awesome, Tag Senior was an incredible race, 80 Jr. and what about AJ Noud (from Grand Junction :cheers: got to rub that in a little) a new track record 51.642 (old record Bobby Wilson 52.198)
we have tire vouchers at the track so make sure and get one this weekend. It is not to late to get signed up. SKUSA has waived any and all late fees so lets put in a good showing for the Colorado gang..
We will have 111 Octane Rocket Fuel and 98 Octane Rocket fuel, both are identical to VP, we will also have 93 octane Unleaded.
