ParticipantIs the region race 1 the week after Craig’s Event on fathers day? I will need some of them special tires for when I run at Craig’s Race and wonder if Stacey will have some available on sight the week before your event?
Do I have to have the new bumper, new clutch, new coil, new cylinder head, new air box, to race a rotax in SKUSA.
Can a non-sealed rotax race if it meets the rules for a rotax entry?
What is the date for the summer nationals?Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantRain, snow or shine I’m heading down this morning to play for the weekend at Bandimere.

ParticipantWell dag nab it, with 2 inches and still snowing this morning it looks like I will have to cancel my test and tune weekend at Bandimere. With this weather I’ll be keeping my “magic straightening jig” warm and dry in my shop awaiting for more victims…
I mean racers… Thanks JoeRodney Ebersole
ParticipantStacy, I have a 60% off sale for all my used talent. It has quite a few hours on it and will need a fresh top and bottom end.

ParticipantLets see if I understand. You need a 1999 Honda CR125 to race stock moto or a 2008 or newer Rotax to race Rotax?

ParticipantIf you want me to I would be glad to check the main jet I have in this CR125 after running well @ 10,000 ft in freezing temps.

ParticipantMy first thought is it’s too rich. When too lean at full throttle generally it will rev well till it sticks the piston. Plus I remember running main jets in the 150’s- 160’s range. Reading the plug and piston top after running it in the poor full throttle condition might confirm rich or lean. Or put in a richer jet and see if the condition happens even sooner in the rpm band.

ParticipantThis one is done now but it would be a little more than a grand. http://i967.photobucket.com/albums/ae157/Freezeman_photos/09Fathersday076.jpg

ParticipantI have tried for years to get more karters interested in doing some ice racing and have participated in all the events that this organization has put on in the past here in Colorado http://www.icespeedway.com/
At this time there isn’t any organized groups or events to register for or show up to. Icespeedway will likely be back to the Budweiser Event center in Loveland again next January to put on a one night show.
The picture is at a private lake near my place that a few of us have been lucky to use over the years for a little fun and practice for preparation of Icespeedways events. I can’t and do not want to promote ice racing events to the public because of liability issues, yet I would be glad to help any karter out with tire advice and invite them to try it out when and if we get another chance to play on the private lake, which could be a few times this month.
If somebody has a good spot or ideas that we could better utilize for this I am all ears. Last I was told Rainbow falls has a full venue of bikes and quads racing a series during Jan. and Feb. with no time or room to also run kart classes on their dates for races.Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantMy kart goes good on ice. http://i967.photobucket.com/albums/ae157/Freezeman_photos/iceracing054.jpg
