Thats a great summary for driver feedback yesterday. It was a little difficult to tune. Full soft in the rear but hesitant to build too much or not enough grip in the front? You know?

Anyway, don’t know why it happened. We’ve raced on that surface before with track temps in the 120’s Haven’t seen the tires give out like that and with so many different chassis having problems, one would wonder if it wasn’t the tire as mentioned earlier. Giving out on lap two?

Maybe MG could take a sample tire and answer these very important questions. The Tag Worlds could certainly turn into a mess real quick!

    Doug,

We were there after trophy’s when Kyle and Greg went out. Track had cooled about 40 degree’s. Don’t know if that helped or not.

Jays tires were new but 6 months old or more.

    Good questions.

It is the first time I’ve seen a Tag blister a new tire in one session. Jay had great tire wear, but they were old – new tires.

Looks like some pretty good tuners had the same problem.

The boys better hang on. She’s fast, smart, smooth, deadly consistent and uses excellent judgement. Wow.

So happy to see her get her 1st big win in class.

Hey, am I getting old quick or what? Can’t all the kids just stay in the Mini Max / Jr classes for a few more years. 😥

No problem guys. Good to meet new racers. We usually have decent used tires as do a lot of the other Teams. Just post here and you’ll get tires.

Met “Buds Bro” too. You guys are going to have so much fun doing this!

I’ll be supporting the Kartworks Team Sunday and have 4 very good sets of used Mojo’s.

If you’re interested, come and see me.

Pretty sure I’ll be there most of the day supporting Team Kartworks. You guy’s can find me there. Most know who I am.

I’ll bet you can get 300 – 400 laps on these tires. A great tire to get seat time with, although not as grippy as most drivers prefer.

I’ll bring you some Jeff. You get quick on these babies and you’ll tear it up with good rubber. I used to make Roman use his tires till you could see through them, I think it helps develop a driver.

Mike Jansen Posted: Just make sure you loosen it up clockwise…

More solid advise from old, “Wrong Way Jansen”

Righty tighty / lefty loosey, or counter clockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten.

Listening to Jansen could be hazardous to parts, life and limb!!! :crash

Jansens way will work to get them off, but it does get a little expensive replacing lug studs everytime?

    Buds Bro,

Support the kart shops whenever you can. Can you buy oil etc.. a little cheaper some where else? Maybe. But when you are running your kart and need something to keep running, they are much more willing to help you out.

If you circumvent the local shops for internet or bike shops for purchases, you maybe limiting yourself when you you really need them. The amount you might save is minimal in most cases. I’ve had shop owners take parts off of their own karts to keep me running, and totally saved my day.
