ParticipantSaw that and had the owner send him pics. Does look like a good deal. Aren’t too many around at this time. He was going to buy that Intrepid that was $1500 but it sold before he could get it.

ParticipantDid add some weight up high on the back of the seat. Working on putting some braces on. Trying to find something to work on the right rear. No 3rd bearing, so have to go between the chain and exhaust. Not a lot of room in there and the bend will have to be just right.

ParticipantAny 5×8 utility trailer will work. Harbor Freight makes a folding trailer for around $300, but you will have to make a bed for it. Usually a few good deals on C/L.

ParticipantAwesome! Glade it worked out for you!

ParticipantDid a lot of changes. Widened the front track width with 50mm of spacers on 17mm spindles. Narrowed the rear to 52″ and put on short hubs. Added the front torsion bar back. Worked a lot better, but was still lacking rear side bite. Ended up putting 4 psi more in the rear tires and it made a big difference. It was a cold 54 degree green track. Started with 18 psi all around. Afte 10 min sessions no pressure increase or heat in the rear tires, even when sliding. The added psi made them hook up and get some heat in them. Still need a tad more grip so will fine tune, but guessing it will have a lot more grip on a warm rubbered up track.

Also check out http://briggsracing.websitetoolbox.com under video. There are lots of instructional vids for carb float setup and clutch installation.
Another good source of info is Bob’s 4 cycle karting forums.
There were some great deals ekartingnews.com on demo rollers in the classifieds. There is a complete race ready
CRG on eBay for $2200 but it’s in Canada, so not sure what shipping would cost?
And last, check out the LO206 users group on Facebook. There was a Margay race ready for $1600.Hope this helps.

Participantmight be worth checking with GJMS. They might have some CRG SR5s that they want to get rid of. There is also an Intrepid w/LO206 on Denver C/L for a great price.

ParticipantThanks for the info. Will try the high pressure this weekend. Didn’t go that high before. On a hot day they pumped up a bunch during a run, which is why I ended up running 13 in the rear and 15 front. Never tried more than 18 though.
