ParticipantI believe that they have broken ground as of last week. To back up Angie, early March is when it is supposed to open. At least that is what I think.

Watch your step mike, if I remember correctly…..you are the English one amongst us. Maybe some good old kidney pie from the land of grey skies will keep you in bounds. Or perhaps paying $6.00 per gallon would do the trick for gas, or perhaps sendin’ you to the Scottish to make historical ammends……. As the good Scotts would say, Get the hell oot of my country.

ParticipantScot, AJ was tutoring for us, his brother was wrenching with sam (you should have known that having been with sam the entire day). AJ has a couple of track records and a supernationals win, by far the best driver in the region.

ParticipantA Dyno out here has dynoed 2 of the 04 rotaxes at 30hp, i belive that an older one had 29 after the guy re did the carb, but dont hold me to it.

Take it easy on eachother. These engines have been an offset weight and generally are pretty even with eachother. Sometimes motors are faster then the motors dynoed. Look at the new Rotaxes, 30hp, expect them to carry a heavy load next year. And i assume the leopard will get a lighter load, and the Sonik,Vortex and those motors will probably get a higher weight limit. Tag is still a developing class so everyone should be patient and give the administration time to figure the best offsets for the weights.Marc Elliott
ParticipantBlueprinted motors and drivers should be DQed regardless of the excuse. TaG is driver and chassis, making it more expensive will kill the class. BTW you do have to true a crank when they blow, you just cant modify it.

ParticipantArt, i assume you know that when an engine blows up in the lower end that it needs to be trued if the crank is out of alignment. I think what he means by its better then factory is that its in the minium set requirements. I saw one guy not true his crank after a lower end, and lets say this, it blew up a lot more.
