ParticipantHey Fuzzy,
My father and I both just purchased ialkarts back in august and have made 4 races. From what I can tell so far the chassis seems to be very competitive. I’ve been able to compete mid pack our better with very little experience. As far as parts, we have been able to find most parts at the local suppliers and anything we couldn’t find it seemed fastech had it. Their shipping is very fast. I think everything we’ve ordered has come in less than a week. If you’ve got any questions please feel free to PM me or if your going to go down to The Track this weekend stop over and talk to my dad, He drives the 15 in TAG Masters. I won’t be there this weekend because I’m going on vacation.Jason Benoit
ParticipantWe mount ours on the front fairing just above the number plate. We mount it with a bolt in one hole that way you can turn it while on track.

Participantyou could always try a 19/64. It’s roughly 7.5mm

ParticipantThanks Rick. I stopped by IMI today and took a look around. Hopefully if everything goes as planned It looks like sometime in mid july when we’ll be out for our first race.

ParticipantThanks Doug. Those were actually the engines we were looking at but we weren’t really sure what to do if I couldn’t race the master class.

ParticipantGood to hear your ok. We were sitting right in turn one when it all happened. Pretty scary for a few moments.

ParticipantWow I knew they were getting some descent air through there but I didn’t know it was that much. Nice shot Mitch.

ParticipantI absolutely disagree with the others. If this is something you have really put your mind to, go for it. Who knows maybe someday this will lead you to being one of the top chassis builders in the world.

ParticipantrFactor is the only one that has a shifter kart mod that I know of.
Jason Benoit
ParticipantI know they have it for Nascar 2003 & rFactor but I’m not sure about the others.
Jason Benoit
ParticipantI’m going to have to agree with Eduardo. Rfactor is the one that will give you the best feel for real life. Also you are able to race online with rFactor, which makes it nice if you can find a good league. I’ve been running with some guys for about 4 years now and they are some of the fastest cleanist guys online. If your interested checkout there website. http://www.bdrmotorsports.com

ParticipantThat’s just pathetic, a nice car like that and scared to get out of 3rd gear. I could have went faster in my daughters power wheel.

ParticipantJust wanted to thank everyone for the input.
We decided to go down to Centennial. What a blast if you haven’t made it there yet I would definitely suggest going down. There Track and people are just great. They were more than helpful on anythng we asked.Jason Benoit
ParticipantProbably will eventually. I’ve ran the Sodi karts before like what centennial has and was wondering how some of the other karts compare.
Jason Benoit
ParticipantWow Look what I started LOL.
I’m from Cheyenne so we’ll probably go to IMI. It’s a little closer and no one has defended the Bandi rentals yet 😀 .
So whens the rental challenge can’t wait to see grown adults on kid karts.- AuthorPosts
