I know this is a shot in the dark, but I’ll try it anyway:
Rotax 125 mounted on Birel kart. Engine mount has two hex screws I need to loosen to move the engine forward or aft. (Don’t know who made the mount.)
Problem: hex screws appear to be either 7.5mm (or SAE equivalent), i.e., 8mm is too big and 7mm is too small.
I cannot locate a 7.5mm hex socket.
Any idea what size this is supposed to be? Or, if it’s 7.5mm, where I can find a socket for it?
Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I came this close to having to drill my engine mount bolts out due to prior curb strikes, but with persistence (dead-blow hammer, then using a pick to pry out excess metal in the hole) I managed to get a hole an 8 mm hex could fit in.
Now, that’s just one more thing I check before each run. So far, I seem to give the curbs a wider berth than the previous owner. It shows in my lap times. 😛
