ParticipantHello Rodney
As was mentioned in a earlier post, the PPKRC support staff, i.e. Corner Marshalls and others (volunteers) that are needed to put on a safe event must be coordinated in order to secure availability, as well as with the schedules of those who are club members and race series supporters who are running other series. Again, my undestanding, this schedule change was in the best interest of club members, racers who want to run with PPKRC and track support staff personel availability.
You’ll have to check with CJKC on the 19th. I believe they are planning to race at SBR, however, do not believe classes above Jr 2 are running.
Don’t believe we have anyone running SKUSA MR so there should not be any conflict.

ParticipantHello Tony
PPKRC support staff availability and the race at The Track were factors driving the schedule change. As you may know, many of our racers run the Rotax series at The Track, the club series at IMI and CJKC series. In support for those, we did not want to break support for them, reason for the change.
Have a Great Day,

ParticipantDave for you and others who have been patiently waiting for a series schedule, there will be a schedule posted by PPKRC before the weekend. This series/schedule will be designed to meet the kart racing needs of those who love karting and maybe do not want to travel out side the state to race and or do not have the time and or resources to do the same. Stay tuned and if I can be of any assistance, feel free to give me a call.
Every, every effort has been made by PPKRC to avoid scheduling a race that is on the same date/s of SKUSA MR, Racing the Rockies and CJKC.
Hang in There!!!!

ParticipantThank you Craig and the Unser Racing Staff,
Good Job to all who supported the Hero’s event yesterday at Unser Racing. Great last lap pass at the finish with the Army taking it, after Navy lead the entire race. Had a bast battling with Cole, Landon and the Freezeman. Jay and Skyler were the guys on top……. :~ in the big kid class.
Looking forward to the next one in sunny Grand Junction (GJMS).

ParticipantHello Eric
Concur with Brian. DD2’s are a great option, low maintenance, very fast and paddle shifting IMO beats the shifter bangers. Good luck.

My understanding after talking with Roger yesterday, the meeting is with the drivers that will be in attendance this weekend at PPIR to start the process and take inputs. Inputs will be provided to the other club/track leadership at some point down the road following the end of the season, i.e. Streets of Lancaster, Super Nats, TAG World Finals etc.
Everyone will have an opportunity to be in the process of forming a state wide series for 2012.
Thank you Mike for starting the thread and all who have chimed in on this thread and provided series input.

A race announcement should be posted soon with details of this weekends PPKRC race at PPIR. However, Gunter pretty much covered it in his post.
