ParticipantEddy,
Interesting date selection.

ParticipantHello Tony
PPKRC support staff availability and the race at The Track were factors driving the schedule change. As you may know, many of our racers run the Rotax series at The Track, the club series at IMI and CJKC series. In support for those, we did not want to break support for them, reason for the change.
Have a Great Day,
Eddy

ParticipantIsn’t CJKC racing 8/19? If so will you also have any tag and shifter adult racing that weekend too?
9/1 and 9/2 is also SKUSA @ Grand Junction.August 11, 2012 at 5:38 pm #65790Eddy Wyatt
ParticipantHello Rodney
As was mentioned in a earlier post, the PPKRC support staff, i.e. Corner Marshalls and others (volunteers) that are needed to put on a safe event must be coordinated in order to secure availability, as well as with the schedules of those who are club members and race series supporters who are running other series. Again, my undestanding, this schedule change was in the best interest of club members, racers who want to run with PPKRC and track support staff personel availability.
You’ll have to check with CJKC on the 19th. I believe they are planning to race at SBR, however, do not believe classes above Jr 2 are running.
Don’t believe we have anyone running SKUSA MR so there should not be any conflict.

ParticipantEddie,
Some of us who attended the PPKRC’s first race are indeed running The SKUSA MR series this includes my son Cody and the entire Sodi group that came down to race at SBR. We all will be in Grand Junction that weekend.

ParticipantHello Don
Please accept our apologies. I’m not sure Roger and the PPKRC B.O.D.’s knew that at the time the schedule was changed.
Good luck at GJMS to you and all the Sodi Racers. As you may know, PPKRC does everything possible to work with other tracks, clubs and series within the state to support all schedules. PPKRC racers frequently race at IMI, The Track and GJMS and last year we had racers with CJKC at Bandy in support of the Kart Racing for Heros event.
Again, best of luck to all the teams going to GJMS on 1 and 2 Sept. Be safe and have FUN! We hope to see you back at SBR Motorsports Park real soon.
Respectfully,
Eddy,
