ParticipantSo Leo,
Tell us what your priorities are. Maybe we can help!Stan Bryniarski
ParticipantIt all boils down to one basic thing, what a persons priorities are.
Some people rather buy a $40,000 car when they only NEED a Kia to get around. Some may choose to purchase a custom tailored suit when a Men’s Warehouse will do.
Some choose to smoke ($5 to $10.00 a day!) Some like their six-pack after work ($6 to 8.00 a day)
Heck, in my travels to Colorado this year, I have seen people wearing boots that cost more than a case of tires!
We live in the United States of America, a country that allows a person to set their own priorities.
If a racer chooses to race against the best, that is their priority and they will make the sacrifices needed to achieve their goal. It might even be that they will change or adjust their priorities in order to reach that goal.
We live in this great country because we are FREE to make our own decisions and the freedom to make new decision to feed our priority!
BTW; A set on MG HZ (Reds) retail for $203.00 per set and will last an entire double race weekend on any cadet, mini, micro or what ever else you got in the line of a cadet level kart. (Is not the younger or structure to your club or series the cadets, the priority you are all concerned about?)
Bottom line, if your priority is to be your best, you will always try to find a way wether it be a new set of tires, chassis, motor, tuner, whatever. This holds true in any form of competition, especially motor-sports.See ya at the SuperNats or Next year!

ParticipantCory and Rick are correct if you are running the entire double event weekend and your a person who wants a set of fresh rubber each morning.(The serious racer)
If your running Rotax, you run the Mojos you already have and there is no SKUSA membership fee! (As your running Rotax rules, getting punches and cool trophies from SKUSA)
Cadets run MG Reds and one set last all weekend!
Also,, you can enter one .
day for half the cost as there is 2 rounds of practice each day before qualifying.
The Track is selling gas by the gallon and your tires do have to be the SKUSA white but if you have tires from another PKC event that are stamped they are allowed.
So for a one day the cost does drop for those who just want to come out and have fun racing the best on the North Range.:hi
Hope to se ya there!

ParticipantI guess I blew my cover!
Anyway, try it, it works for me!
All I am trying to do is keep the Colorado Karters in the loop when it comes to news.
Actually, forums are “yesterday”
Today’s internet users are on Facebook, Twitter and insta-gram (I suggest you create accounts on all) as that is where the real news moves FAST!
Shelby manages my my Fasebook, Twitter and insta-gram accounts and every morning I get “what happing in Karting” from her in a matter of a cup of coffee
Create and use them, it is where the customers are!Respectfully,

ParticipantGuys,
All I do is post under the “News” topic and until someone else does the same and knocks me down, it stays there!Simple forum posts, no tricks!

ParticipantCory and all other curious racers,
As much as I would like to have the ability to post an “accurate” list of who is racing, it would require YOU the racers to pre-enter.
Tony asked me the same question last night and I recommended he do just what he did, reach out electronically and ask!
Along with this site and ekarting RMPKC has a Facebook and Twitter page, log on, like us and ask others!
Example, every race I have a pre-entry list, a report from the host hotel on the rooms blocked, reports from the track for reserved pits and the on-line store purchases. If I were to cross reference all this information, guess what, there would only be about 5 common names but if you counted all the names on the various, lists would total about 50 different names.
My “preview” would be nothing but gossip and a waste of time!
Last year, we have 30 pre-entries to the regional before the SummerNats. The Thursday and Friday before the event weekend, we had 40 walk ups!
While we are on the subject, the pre-entry deadline for this event is Monday July 1st Midnight CST.
To take advantage of the pre-entry discount and avoid paperwork at registration, go to http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/rocky-mountain-pkc.html
Vist the on line store, get yourself registered and lets go racing! :dance:See you at the track!

ParticipantOnly 12 garages left as of now.

ParticipantGreg figured it out!
Discount entry deadline is still weeks away, but if you want those front row pit spots or garages, book them now.
They are going faster than fresh water in a “Salt lake”! 😆
RMPKC on-line store is the place to reserve all orders for Rounds 1&2 at Miller as well as discounted pre-registration.

ParticipantMy post today is a polished press release that was sent out across the Karting community websites.
What I would like to add is this schedule was an example of what CAN happen when you work together.
We all agreed at the beginning that there is no HERO but a group of interested people (series, Tracks, racers) working together to reach a common goal.
Every person involved in this made sacrifices.
If you want to say Thank You, do it by supporting the series and tracks involved.
Patronize the tracks with your parts, testing, fuel, oil and tire dollars. If this type of cooperation is to survive, it will take you the racer to be loyal to the series and tracks that are supporting you.
As you can tell, we listen to what racers have to say. We have done our job the best we could for 2013, If we are to succeed and expand in 2014 it is now up to you!Hope to see everyone at the track come May!

ParticipantMembers and potential new members / racers.
Let me best set the record straight
The current schedule was created 9-2-2012 At the risk of not allowing other tracks / venues an opportunity to join the series, I called both participating tracks / promoters and expressed my concerns / intentions.
They both agreed to open up the opportunity for other tracks to contact me with the goal to balance out the series geographically.
I posted an invitation (on this site) the opportunity for everyone to contact me. I collected all the input (thank you all) and did what I could in the time permitted. I did receive many responses here, in PMs and personal calls, thank you all for your input.
When I expressed my intentions of combining the SKUSA and Rotax into one series, It was not received well on the Denver side.
Also, if I recall correctly, another series had to make a date change which conflicted with the RMPKC date last year with the assumption that similar classes were not offered so it was not an issue, so why should it effect this year.My direction was to if at all possible, to release a solid schedule in time for the SuperNats program. I waited until the 11th hour and did so.
My personal goal was to recreate the same last race / banquet event as we did in 2012 at a venue that can accommodate this. This year was an experiment by doing the awards banquet at the last race and I think it paid off in spades. Again, an opportunity for the racer to save a few bucks and participate in the entire SKUSA experience.
Personally, I think the timing of the banquet is the standard for years to come.As far as the 2013 schedule, I gave everyone a chance to step up. The result, two entities did so and became partners of the series in more ways than just a promoter. They have both stepped up in support of the series, the concept and the RACER!
The 2013 RMPKC / Rotax schedule is set.
Now if anyone out there wants to do a one-off temp race or festival style race, please contact me. But please understand just a notion is not going to get it done.
Nothing is out of the rheum of possibility!
Do your homework, and contact me with a semi solid proposal and I will help you in the direction to make it a reality. Some entities have already contacted me. Lets Get it done! But frankly I will need your help. Lets combine our resources. Lets do it for the good of karting. But please understand that a temp course is not just thrown down overnight (at least one that I am connected with) venue. Dollars to resources to event date is key and this must be considered if we are to venture down that path.Last, please understand, I am not a Colorado native and have no allegiances other than to the Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge and it’s customers.
Politics means nothing to me and never will!
Yes I have been a part of SKUSA for 19 years and yes I have seen the rise and separation of Colorado karting. But to best quote one track owner, “We had it all and us the track owners screwed it up!”I, SKUSA is the series / customer, don’t expect me /us to fix the past, I , SKUSA just want to go forward and provide a place for our customers to race.
My phone is always at my side (219-841-1367) and will take your call and listen to your concerns / ideas. My email address is [email protected] and I will respond to each and every email. Superkarts! USA is a customer oriented business and I am here you YOU the customer.
Perhaps in 2014 (or a well planned 2013 special event) we can once again make SKUSA a total “both side of the Mountain” series
.
BTW, every race I attended in Colorado lsat year, I flew into Denver and drove to the track. (Goal, save the region a buck)Respectfully,
Stan Bryniarski
