Greg, Brad we all need to just keep our eye on the ball as they say and focus on what is best for karting. We all have offended each other at one time or another don’t take it personal let’s put that aside and realize this is good for all of us also CRG USA, SODI, Unser, IMI GJMS etc.

    Now let’s get it done.

So tell me how a race in the middle of Denver, that showcases the “pro” drivers talents while still allowing rental drivers to get a taste of it is not a great thing for karting? On site facilities include a full service restaurant and bar, and 360 degree viewing from the rooftop. We can market the event to our 40,000 person + database of people who we already know are interested in karting because they have been in to race in the past year. Can anyone tell me how an event such as that which showcases karting in the middle of town, 5 minutes from everything, is worse than running on a track in the middle of nowhere?

If we keep thinking along the same lines that we have been the past 15 years, guess where we will be 15 years from now? Arguing about the same topic. Mix it up, and do something which can help us grow the pot, rather than fight over the same 50 guys we have been fighting over for the past 10 years.

There can only be one state series if you want any turn out. I really can’t believe the talk about street or parking lot races, they are too much work, too much cost and trash your kart. It’s not like there are not plenty of real kart tracks in the state you should be supporting. You want to run your kart in a parking lot or on the street get a Shriner kart and do parades! Unser racings parking lot would be joke of a track with no room to do a decent course, if they want to have real kart racing then build a real kart track! Get off these stupid ideas people! Support one state series on the tracks we have and one promoter be it SKUSA or who ever.

Wow Brad, I’m surprised you have this kind of attitude towards I believe the only shop owner who came and supported races at your track this year. If it doesn’t make more sense for the racers and shops than racing at Centennial, then I’ll continue to take my drivers to Centennial, and out of state.

If scheduling and class structure allows I’ll bring:

    Max Fedler
    Everest Fedler
    Cole Thompson
    Austin Chalman
    Jason Dempster
    Grant Copple
    Saeed Altaee
    Russ Johnson
    Noah Walter
    Keenan Schmitke
    +4 new guys

What do you all think of a parking lot race in Denver, say Unser Racing??

So from this point I would attack carb. I would give it a thorough disassembly and cleaning.

I think I could help more if we talked instead of typed about axle questions. $20 labor, I can straighten it faster than you can pull it out. 😯

    I’ll take that challenge!

My first thought is that there is a main seal issue on the crank seal behind the gear case.

When the balance gear went was the gear case still full of oil? I wonder if that seal went and sucked all the oil through the engine causing the balance gear failure in the first place. With the pulse tube off of the gear case you should be able to feel a pretty strong pulse coming out of the engine, if not it is not likely that seal. It is possible to get it out without breaking the bottom end apart, its just kind of a pain.

Other than that, about all it can be is an issue with the way the lines are hooked up, an issue with the way the gears are installed, or the fuel pump needs a rebuild kit.

This video was from a year ago. My office is in the north metro area and I take some back roads from there to get to the airport. I drive by that track every time I go. From the side road it looks in far worse condition than this video.

Hey that guy is going backwards!

Anyone remember when the 1st (of 3) version(s) of the Skusa Mountain Region used to race at Second Creek? Those were the glory days…

This is a good thing for our sport. Anytime you have a big name get behind karting it is good, but a name like Schumacher is outstanding. Hopefully this along with his purchase of a ranch in Austin Texas means we will see him racing at the Supernationals once again!

I think it is 4, Scarberry, Noud, Shimmel, Me. Scarberry did it twice, and AJ may have done it twice too?

We will be cancelling our test this weekend due to weather and Sunday and to attend the memorial services for Rusty Newberry on Friday. We will reschedule for after Supernats.

You really should put the stock box back on, and you can bend the bracket out to help it clear the seat if you need to. The airbox boot is also angled, so you can rotate it to allow you to bend the bracket out farther to clear the seat, and don’t be afraid to trim a little material out of the lip of the seat, but that is the last thing to do.

The filter is pushing more air into an over carbureted engine than it can handle. We played with one for a while with no success. You would need to richen pilots, needle, floats and main to start, and It would probably need a different atomizer to run well.
