Someone will need to explain this comment to me. I guess there is a difference between human life depending on what event it is.
Really??????????Curt,
I heard of a Race Director very recently refusing to send out ambulance to attend to flipped karter. Same Race Director resigning his position for remainder of event, when over ruled by Race Organisers.
Maybe if the flipped karter was six years old, not sixteen there would have been no hesitation. So I guess there is a difference between human life, depending on age.
I have no chance, I’m getting out while I’m ahead.
Gunter.[/quote]Get your facts correct before making any statements Gunter. I was just asking what the difference is for an unlit track. Pretty simple question I thought. Guess not.

Hi Mike,
The ones we rented for the Cheerleaders didn’t adjust at all, so the track was dark in many spots. Since we are playing for real, I have to good ones showing up, and will take the time to make sure all is placed in the proper, safe areas for racing. JimSomeone will need to explain this comment to me. I guess there is a difference between human life depending on what event it is.

On my 3rd clutch in 2 years. Lots of life (pad) left when break occurs. Probably 4-5 hours of use. I try to keep roller bearing clean and lubed, but maybe not as often as I should.
Is this a known weak part or am I doing or not doing something to cause this recurring failure ?
Stop trail braking.

So in the spirit of helping out the racers Im offering a bed (or spot on the floor) to anyone that will fit inside my dorm room. I am also right next to the hall’s lounge which has 4 couch’s in it.
After the stories you told me about your dorm girl buddies, count me in on the floor. Save a spot for Ricky Boobie too. :hide

Participant…..Goes out to all the folks on the other side of the Mountain, CRG USA!!!!!! Thank you all for supporting us at PPIR and throughout this entire season.
Stacey Cook and his drivers, families, friends, track workers and community need one more shot in the arm before the 2011 season ends. This is why the last round of the 2011 SKUSA Mountain Region will be at GJMS. September 18th is race day and practice will run all day Saturday the 17th.
We are reaching out to the Utah Karting Community to see if they are interested in bringing the “Border War” trophy back to Colorado so our S2 drivers can attempt to win it back for this race.
GJMS will handle the registration on-line at their web site. They will also be releasing hotel information soon. You can make all of your tire purchases at either Billet Performance Karting on this side of the bump, or through GJMS at the track.
This will be the final round of local SKUSA style racing leading up to “The Streets of Landcaster” and then onto “The SuperNationals” at The Rio Hotel in Vegas.
We understand that this is the last race for our Region in 2011, and school is in session, and we are in a horrible economy… Bottom line is, they deserve this event and will pull it off. Try to joint effort the use of trailers, share fuel, share rooms, get together as a community and let’s make this a good turnout. We at SKUSA MR will help make this worth your time and efforts.
Thanks,

Oh damn Rick, that was funny! Read that while sitting in a gym, and bust out laughing!
Good stuff!
Ricky, notice he was sitting in a gym, and not working out in a gym? Must be looking at all the packages again… I thought you fixed him of that bad habbit.

When’s there going to be a showing in Grand Junction??
Guess Ill have to wait for the SKUSA MR banquet 😐
I have no idea Tony. But after seeing it last night there is no way this movie should be shown at an awards banquet. When you see it you will understand why. This is the type of movie that requires your complete attention. Just having Jansen rubbing my leg all night really took away much of my attention from the movie. Next time I am bringing my stun gun for that pervert. :idea

ParticipantThanks to Mr. Watkins for holding a spot in line for us last night. We had a full row of Karters to see the first screening in Denver. What a great flick on truly a wonderful human being, and talented driver. The quote of what was his best driving experience of his life will bring tears to your eyes.
My suggestion to all: Wait until after the largest kart race of the season at PPIR this weekend, then go see Senna. Remember, tomorrow is the last chance to get pre-registered with SKUSA MR or Deb will hang another $25.00 on you at the track on Saturday. Come on folks, if you are on the fence with this race and still thinking about it don’t delay. We have over 40 registrations not counting what the PPKRC has captured. Please stay home if you are afraid of +90mph straights 😯

You wait and see how old age is. It sucks…. But the older I get, the better I was.C Kistler
ParticipantBUMP….
You can pre-register now and have a 5 minute wait in line at PPIR Saturday morning the 27th, or have about a +30 minute wait the day of….. There is also an increase in fees after the 24th, so don’t delay in getting us your paperwork. This process really helps us out a bunch.
Thanks,

Just to confirm-
The SKUSA site shows the race on PPIR infield. I was told today it is actually a temp circuit on the autocross lot.Round 4 of SKUSA Mountain region is also going to be on the autocross lot.
Two good races to tune up for the Super Nationals.
You are correct Mr. Wood….
Originally we discussed the infield, but in true spirt with SKUSA racing, the parking lot will be the place to decide who the regional champs are. Both round #3 & #4 will be laid out differently in the AutoCross lot and they will be challenging to all racers, in all classes and motor packages.Eddy Wyatt and I met there yesterday and laid out what will truly be a long, fast, technical, safe, smoooooth, scenic, thrilling and tuner challenging circuit. You hear that Mr. Deason? Tuner Challenging….No more free lunch for you buddy.
Make sure to book your rooms at The Crown Plaza and request the rooms around the indoor pool. SKUSA MR will be in the bar Saturday evening purchasing beverages for all the happy faces. 😉
Get the pre-registration process moving folks. It really helps the hard working ladies when you do that, and I need to know how much fuel and oil to order. No extra fuel will be available at the track, and Kim will be checking everyones tank.
If someone wants to sponsor a BBQ for Saturday afternoon please call. I have sponsored the last three and would love to pass that honor onto someone else who is in a better tax bracket :money
And as always, the dominating SKUSA MG-SK tires are in stock and ready to purchase anytime for practice.
Thanks,
