Just to confirm-
The SKUSA site shows the race on PPIR infield. I was told today it is actually a temp circuit on the autocross lot.Round 4 of SKUSA Mountain region is also going to be on the autocross lot.
Two good races to tune up for the Super Nationals.
You are correct Mr. Wood….
Originally we discussed the infield, but in true spirt with SKUSA racing, the parking lot will be the place to decide who the regional champs are. Both round #3 & #4 will be laid out differently in the AutoCross lot and they will be challenging to all racers, in all classes and motor packages.Eddy Wyatt and I met there yesterday and laid out what will truly be a long, fast, technical, safe, smoooooth, scenic, thrilling and tuner challenging circuit. You hear that Mr. Deason? Tuner Challenging….No more free lunch for you buddy.
Make sure to book your rooms at The Crown Plaza and request the rooms around the indoor pool. SKUSA MR will be in the bar Saturday evening purchasing beverages for all the happy faces. 😉
Get the pre-registration process moving folks. It really helps the hard working ladies when you do that, and I need to know how much fuel and oil to order. No extra fuel will be available at the track, and Kim will be checking everyones tank.
If someone wants to sponsor a BBQ for Saturday afternoon please call. I have sponsored the last three and would love to pass that honor onto someone else who is in a better tax bracket :money
And as always, the dominating SKUSA MG-SK tires are in stock and ready to purchase anytime for practice.
Thanks,
Curt Kistler

ParticipantOk everyone it’s time to get off the fence or the couch and let’s go support these guys. We have some great young (and old) racers coming up thru the ranks here in Colorado and we need all of them racing together to make them even better. This will be a great race to prepare for Vegas so let’s get going.
CRG-USA will have a great group of racers with us and welcome more.

ParticipantFor immediate release.
8-9-11 Golden, COIn their quest for late season parking lot domination, Wood Source Racing and Scuderia Ghetto Motorsports are in heavy negotiations, pointing towards a dual entry in the premier S2 class at the 3rd round of the SKUSA Mountain Region Championship. The team has been sharpening their skills on and off the track up to this point in the season. For the remainder of 2011, this partnership is focused on attaining a level of equipment preparation and driver fitness perhaps never before seen.
Asked for a quick quote as the Wood Source Racing boss hurried from negotiations to join the test team at an undisclosed testing facility, he simply said “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”

ParticipantRick,
I will build my kart from the ground up, get that mother running, and pay entry if you man up and run it at PPIR in 3 weeks.
If everyone here does remember, that kart IS a TaG World CHAMPIONSHIP winning kart.
Only question is (Rick)…. Do ya feel lucky (fast) punk, well… Do ya?

ParticipantIt’s looking like me; Ben and Will are coming for sure. Putting some last minute plans together and plan on bringing several other national drivers, rumor has it possibly 15-20 Arrows drivers alone. Stay tuned for further details. Great chance for some of the Colorado retired drivers to dust off the motors and come play for the weekend, temp parking lot, new track what more can you ask for? Plus its going to be very reasonable $. We will follow up with a list of drivers soon, but it’s over 10 already just waiting for some additional confirmations.

ParticipantReally Curt?
Arrow team is up to 20-23 drivers heading to this race.
What do we have to do get you master guys off the couch and to this race? For that matter, what do we need to do to get everyone of the couch and to this race?
Offer prize money? Tires? Motors? Slow guys start in the front fast guys in the back? Well what is it? What excuse will we have for this race for not showing up drivers?
Pepsi Center was one of the best track designs I raced all year and it was a total joke that the entries were that low, it was a shame. And it was an embarrassing amount of entries considering the event. The TTAC staff did a phenomenal job with setting up and running a GREAT race minus the drivers. It was your loss for not being there let’s not make the same mistake next weekend drivers.
You have no excuses for this one. It’s a TAG race rules and Rotax and whatever else you can run almost any current TAG motor you want. Not to mention if you bring 5 drivers, I hear they will make a class for you. NO MORE EXCUSES!
You have complained about the TTAC going to a RMAX series, well here’s your chance to come race against some of the best Tag/Rotax drivers and Shifter drivers in the country. On a parking lot track with a new direction and a new design.
Colorado you have no excuses! This use to be one of the best karting sates in the country. It’s sad to say that has not been the case the last couple of years! If the track owners and promoters don’t want change racing in COLO than maybe its time the drivers step up. We need to start somewhere before it’s entirely too late.
No more BS, about this guy, that guy, this series, that series, this track, that track. I’m OVER IT and I’m sure I speak for many other drivers.
This needs to be about the drivers for a change. No more finger pointing crap! Drivers need to support each other since the tracks and the promoters don’t. Spend the $300-400 and come have a good time. If I can offer you any support I will, please stop by my pit and ask.
Come out have some fun next weekend and have some great safe racing.
NO MORE BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
